Like everyone, I have a story

I wasn't born to only swim in muck
By my own nature it's just my luck
I also love rainbows and sunsets and flowers
Almost more than the sewage I devour

I would have preferred to be in a traveling band
But I was dealt the cards with which I must live
Only know, I have much love to give

I'm not just a creature slimy and shallow
I actually consider what I will swallow
I won't eat anything which taste really bad
Yes, Luke Skywalker tastes pretty sad

I will meet you, dressed in my toga
We will kiss beneath the Yavin moon

I LOVE this!

I think this is the first time I've seen something from the POV of a dianoga, that I recall.
I really want someone to record this and put it over video of clips from the trash compactor scene.

I loved every bit of it, but if forced to pick a part, my favorite would be:

I won't eat anything which taste really bad
Yes, Luke Skywalker tastes pretty sad

I'm always so impressed with people who can rhyme and still make sense, because that's a skill I do not possess.

I even showed this to my roommate who doesn't read fanfic and she said, "That was genius!"
