You're still IN high school instead of stressing out about losing the last of the belly you were blessed with at the same time you were blessed with children before you have to face all of your old classmates, whom you have not so much as sent a postcard to in ten years, and hope the sum of your life comes even close to the sum of theirs! Can you tell I'm freaking out here about my upcoming reunion? Oh no, I don't have issues at all!! You know what the ironic part is? In high school I had a reputation for not caring one iota what others thought of me... my nickname was Ice Queen because I didn't need anyone's approval to be me. (I guess that ticked off the guy who liked me when I told him to go jump in a lake or something) *sigh* Ungh. The more I think about it, the more I don't owe these people anything... thank you, Nat, You are sooooo theraputic!

Jacen will have a story that takes place a few years after this about his own search for love. I don't know what it's called or when it will be up, but if you're die-hard J/TK or J/D I wouldn't advise reading

Without further ado . . . the post!!

Jag was just coming out of his meeting when I found him. I think he got a pretty big shock when I ran up to him and threw my arms around him. It took him a few seconds to figure out what was happening and return my embrace.

?Wow, what?s that for?? he asked.

I tilted my head up to meet his eyes. ?I love you.?

?That good, because I love you too,? he replied, and met my lips with his own.

We broke apart when we heard someone whistle. I glared at Jag?s uncle. ?Go away, Wedge.?

Wedge Antilles laughed. ?Get a room.?

I stuck my tongue out at him as was about to retort, but Jag stopped me with another kiss. ?Don?t egg him on, or Wes will show up.? I shivered, and it wasn?t because of the cold. If Wes Janson saw me kissing Jag, I would be teased for the rest of the day, and then my father would be told.

?Are you going to ask??

Jag frowned. ?Ask what??

?Don?t play stupid. I saw you fingering something in your pocket when you asked me to go home with you. Something about the size of a ring box.?

He blushed. ?I though you weren?t ready for that yet.?

?I wasn?t,? I agreed, ?but I did some serious thinking, and I?m ready now. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I love you.?

Jag gave me a goofy grin that I had only seen on him a few times before. ?I don?t have the ring with me right now.?

?I don?t care. You can put it on later. Ask now.?

?In front of all these people??

I realized that we weren?t alone, but most of the people around us were pretending to talk to each other. I knew that I would get teased, and that this was far from romantic, but I didn?t care. I just wanted Jag. ?Yes.?

Jag grinned again. He took both my hands in his and dropped to one knee in the cold snow. ?Jaina Solo, will you marry me??

?Yes.?
