That's interesting, the image is flipped so it looks like the driver's side is on the left, but the letters didn't go backwards. Australia. So wacky!

 

been quite enjoying dead by daylight. basically it's what the friday the 13th game should have been.

Also, there's a lot of things I could say about the name of the driver in P21, whose name appears under the "Currently Watching: endersai" at the top. Like, well played putting him in a Porsche...

 

So, I joined Nonchalant Dominance for GTA Racing, lead by this guy. Bored of GTA's janky physics, we moved over to PCARS 2.

We did an open GT3 race at Donington Park in the UK, with 27 people. About 8 of us were from NoDo.

Here's qualifying's results. I'm the highest of our crew:



There was a lot of traffic, so I only set one timed lap over the 5 I was out for. P11, 13, 15, 16, and 20 are crew mates; there are more below this. Qualifying when the driver ahead is slow but won't move = not fun.

I normally run the #59 car from Tekno Motorsports, the Australian GT3 McLaren team. But, given I'm mates with the guy in P20 above, I took the orange K-PAX (American GT racing team) car and he took the black.

This was the race result:



Fastest lap, and starting from P10 probably kept me from a podium battle. A higher start would have let me challenge Amuro and Frotang more - I never had more than 2.5s to them (finishing 2.2s down). But also, fastest lap, which is a massive shot in the arm.

I finally got the Witcher 3. Enjoying it, but the combat's a bit of a unique thing isn't it?

 

One piece of advice re: combat: use Quen and use it often.

 

Oh yeah already across that. Quen and igni for ghouls.

But so erm... Do we have any other PS4 Destiny 2 players in here? I just platinumed the game this weekend. Been wondering if anyone else here is playing on Playstation.

 

I've still got to preorder Origins. I'm looking forward to that.

 

I've never played an Assassin's Creed game that I've liked, so I'm interested to see how different this one is from the rest.

Black Flag is the only one I've been blown away with (I haven't fully played any before the third game). I've been kinda let down by the last ones. I've always wanted one set in Egypt, so I'm hoping this will bring the series back to greatness.

I have it on PS3. But yeah, I definitely have to play it.

I'm busy playing the entire Uncharted series twice in a row currently. Best. Series. Ever.

 

I have joined the club of dog avatars with Parappa the rapping dog.

solojones, you better check on the Destiny thread in Gaming. There's a couple of players that post there. Sadly, I was playing it on Xbox and share the disappointment many have with it.

 

I did. I didn't care for it. Like, it's not as bad as the first game but that's hardly a ringing endorsement.

It's definitely the best one of the lot. The soundtrack, the setting and atmosphere...damn near perfect. And better yet, it's free of loot boxes and microtransactions.
