Millwall play Staines this afternoon at 1:30 PM in the FA Cup. And since Staines were drawn as home team, my neighborhhood gets to play host to at least 700 Millwall fans. (That's how many tickets they were allocated). Of all the teams to play...

Yep - door and windows locked, car in the locked garage, Ginsu knife next to me on the futon..

Score at halftime is 0-0. It's live on Sky on channel 0152 (BBC London digital service)..

Edit - it was live. They're having 'technical difficulties' at the moment.

Well, now it'll be at Millwall's ground so you don't have to worry about the no-ggod chavs who support them coming and causing trouble where you live.

That's true. There weren't any problems on my road but some of the shops near the ground closed for the duration of the match. I think the fact that it started pouring not long after the end of the match cut down on the potential for mischief.

Well, I watched the FA Cup draw earlier on ITV. Should Staines continue to lead a charmed life and actually beat Millwall in their replay a week from Tuesday, they would have a home match against Derby County.

And Staines have crashed out of contention. They gave it a good try though, almost managing to hold Millwall to 0-0 for the first half. Millwall scored about 5 minutes from half-time. The final score was Millwall 4 Staines 0. The real victory was Staines actually managing to get the tie the first time and gaining the replay at the Den.

Oh well - there's always next year. :)
