    1) my mate's wife has just had a baby, and is acting like she's the first women in the history of the world to have ever given birth, gushing cattle diarrhea such as - "love has new meaning", (more like planet earth has a new ginger mong)
    2) everyone i went to school with is thoroughly disappointing and/or racist
    3) my mum is on it

    I'm having the new mom issue as well. It's been 1-2 new baby photos a day since March. Darling. But the drumbeat is relentless. I know more about this baby than I do about my own children, though that's not saying much.

    I'm not sure I believe I exist anymore and probably won't believe it until I see a photo of myself on Facebook holding that baby.

    7) MINION memes.

    I had to remove almost every middle aged relative or friend from my news feed. I still have to filter things today.
    I occasionally check their wall to see if I can follow them again, but I never can. It's been months.

    8) The relative I-don't-really-know-but-she-insisted-on-adding-me-so-she-can-fill-my-newsfeed-with-her-bragging.

    9) The other relative who was so obnoxious I never friended her...but now has been tagging her husband in everything so I can't escape it anymore.

    Vom inducing example (names changed to protect the irritants)

    Lady xxxxxxx xxxxxx leisurely danced her way into the world over 4 days and arrived in spectacular style on 19 sept. We had a wonderful long Hypnobirthing water labour at home for most of it but she just needed a bit of help opening the last door! We are all in a daze. A bit bruised and battered, with swollen hearts. All the cliches spring forth. Besotted. More updates and pics when we are home, detached from the dream (and the tubes), having remembered our own names and found hers thanks for all the love and thoughts xxx
    PS xxxxxx xxxxxx is available for hire as the best doula and baby whisperer in the whole world :)) Love has a new meaning

    FYI when my three kids were born, the room looked like a scene from texas chainsaw, the business end of mrs punk was a rick baker nightmare, and the kids looked like the thing that burst from john hurt's chest in alien, so I'm calling bull****
