If I'd made it I probably would have stayed in a hotel and gone to see Jerry Lee Lewis' farewell concert at the Palladium tomorrow night. Bet that will be quite some show.

I'll be tied upo with my website until the end of the year but maybe we'll get something together in New Year? (Though I can't imagine doing a meet without Ender Sigh, LOL)

The little one is looking a bit Joey Deacon. Luckily his creepy caregiver is there.

We'll hear about it tomorrow when one of them wakes up in a bathtub full of ice.

    C'mon...Python reference....and I don't think you're crap. You can do this.

Edit: In all fairness it's kind of an "out of context" reference based only on his username which makes it kinda weak.

As that sketch is the reason I have this username, it is quite apt

Just to recap the salient point from yesterday:

    1) the leg bone is connected to the hip bone
    2) Hal forced me to drink tea in a pub which was not bad just a bit odd. After a lengthy chat to Mrs Fitzgerald I was ok
    3) the c word is perfectly acceptable as both insult and term of endearment and our American friends are wrong to be offended by it
    4) the British Empire is the greatest thing in all history because of sport, pubs, colonials and Her Maj.
    5) the man bun is a dad that should die out and soon
    6) epic flaked out and let Straya down, but the Tim Tams and their ability to soak up tea recovered
    7) the bloody Ashes
    8) Nelson > Washington
    9) punk yelling "hey! Essex!" at a TOWIE-esque waiter.

We also gave thanks to TfL and trade unions for keeping us safe from tigers (I thought I saw one but was just a lady in leopard print leggings) and toasted Her Majesty

Having endured Americans at the cafe at St Pancras opine on coffee at length by phrases such as "like, super super hot" and how like Starbucks here doesn't do it "proper" - quite frankly, dear Muricans, your coffee is awful - I thought I would have reached my limit for stereotyping for the morning. After all, the Australians were already eyeing the beers and the Europeans (French, portugese etc) had proven themselves unable to queue so I'd had a lot to take in.
But then the like super super Americans found the process of matching the Coach 02 seat XX from their ticket to the actual train so they just sat like wherever. A British couple turned up and pointed out that they were rightful owners of the seats. Americans got up, and the Brits apologised.
And that is where I leave the UK. HER MAJESTY!

Well, at least they didn't call the coffee "like, hot hot".

Great session chaps. I do believe I won the lightweight award. Had it not been for that tactical bratwurst, I might well have woken this morning with an a-box the size of an Aussie 50p
halibut great to meet you. Hope the show was good? Half faced man never responded to my **** faced text
Ender Sai well done for refusing my suggested location change. You have some good banter (none repeatable).
Bob Crow I'm pretty sure we owe you money?

A burlesque show in a former underground men's toilet was not my finest sales pitch

According to the website, the toilet was once one of Oscar Wilde's hangouts.

Yeah easily the highlight of my trip, and the best meeting of JC people ever. Epic didn't say a word though.

Celebration 4.5 - Vegas wants a word with you.

Hell, even Celebration 5.5 - Vegas (which was just me, Dingo, and Dorky) was the sexiest of all gatherings.

    Interesting question...

Honestly not sure, though typically when I'm there it's only in transit to/from SHF via St. Pancras and then Paddington/Heathrow Express. Not out of the question for me to do one night in town though, if I ever make it there again.
