Fall

This, my descent
Into blackness, into madness
Grasping black hand
Pulling me down
And I succumb
Feeling the darkness, the power
Flow through me
Pulsing wildly in my veins

A droplet of blood
Smeared on my lips
The tangy, sweet taste
Of power
And the galaxy
Resting in my palm

Oh,
The dark, the fear, the pain
The glorious rage
Vented through my fingertips
Crackling lighting
Mesmerizing

As am I,
Beautiful
Terrible
Like a black hole
Slowly, so slowly
Consuming a star
The Dark
Singing
In my soul.
