    Hi, MazzSunBlade. Though I understand why you would ask this question on this board, the three Fan fiction era boards, Before The Saga, The Saga and Beyond The Saga are for the posting of fanfic stories only. Because of this I have to lock this thread. I believe this question is actually more suited for the Literature Board

    Where did the author get his information about the lava scene in FOTR. I ask because there is going to be a lava scene in ROTS as we all know. Did he have any inside information back in 1983 or what?
