Dude, things like that just shouldn't be done. Maybe I am too sensitive but man! I still can't wait for tomorrow's episode. I also taped it as the back up person.

DH, thanks to you too for taping for me! I'll be recording until I have the opportunity to watch them in order. Oh yes, I'm BACK by the way. Drove alllllll the way home from Las Cruces, New Mexico TODAY AND stopped and saw a ghost town and the saguaro forest.

    So. tired.

Nick, maybe I could try to transfer them to VHS for you? I'll be starting Firefly this coming week: yay!

    O.K. time for bed.

Okay! Bring the discs to the meeting on the 30th and I'll copy them onto VHS for you. I'll even put them in order (since, as you noticed, they're not in order on the DVD-Rs)!

I can't wait 'til they iron all the kinks out of this technology...

Bubba, what brand of DVD recorder did you buy?

negative Liz. My dish network has DVR= Digital Video Recorder. Basically TiVo, but much better. 100 hours worth.

From there, I put it on VHS. Bring me a blanky Sunday! (or Sam Adams on tap ;) )

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

BeSo and I went out for a post-trip celebratory dinner tonight and the quoted "less than one-half hour" wait to be seated proved to be well OVER an HOUR! Long story short: I didn't get home in time to record Lost (to watch after I see last week's ep.)!!!!

I'm desperate: did anyone tape it? I'll buy it! I simply must watch them in order, and I can't believe this happened. Silly me, getting all hooked on a show....

Please continue to use spoiler tags (thanks DB) when discussing the show; I really appreciate it!

I taped Lost so I'll give you the tape. When I recorded the first one I could not find a new one (we don't record a lot of stuff to keep) so I reused an old tape. It still looks good. Any way, you can have the tape to do as you wish afterwards. It was really good! The ending was surprising! JB you need to see these two episodes so I can post stuff about them.

Matt--Michelle wasn't! God I miss Tony & Michelle, and Palmer was cool, even though he was a total square. Yay, tomorrow night I'm gonna get to see the 2 hours I missed 'cause I was retarded and forgot the first Monday it was on! But yes, Chloe is totally retarded. And the chick Behrooz (sp?) was seeing was dumb. And Kim was generally dumb, though maybe not as dumb last year. And I can't decide whether I hate new CTU boss or Chloe more. "I'm" (Sara w/an 'h') pretty not cool so far...oh, but "Eyes and Ears" guy from X-Files (Curtis?) who totally called her on manipulating Heavy Dude is awesome. He was in more than one X-Files ep, but he was the "eyes & ears" guy in the wonderful episode "Pusher". Roight.
Oh, and Behrooz's mom is interesting/cool. Pretty cold-hearted. Kinda like Sherry.

I don't get SciFi because I don't have suped up cable. My roommate and I didn't want to pay anything more than just basic cable. I really miss SciFi and when my car is paid for this month, I think I'm going to use the extra money to upgrade and also get tivo myself.

I can't get used to the idea of a new Battlestar Galactica group and a chick Starbuck. I got my padawan hooked on the old ones. I guess maybe I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip.

Sara, sorry.. I just started watching 24 this season.. I'm not familiar with what happeded in the previous seasons. So pretty much I don't know what you're talking about. I need to get a hold of the previous seasons. My wife/fiancee is a huge 24 fan. She's even in the fan club. She seemed more excited about the new season of 24 than when I proposed to her. I guess I'm the same way with Star Wars.

It really is a good show. Much darker then the original. Not as corny. I also like the change of the crew, some women instead of men.

The Starbuck character is very cool, a woman of today. Back in the original series all the women, were there just to look pretty and support the men. Now they fight along side the men, and still look pretty.

I guess it's like ST:TNG. I could never get beyond the fact that it was just as good, if not better than the OS. I learned to deal with that difference towards the end of its run and kicked myself for my prejudice.

Okay, I'm sure no one saw it because they were watching something else but I watched Smallville last night and it was really, really shocking. Clark and Alicia ran off to Vegas to get married and he spent about 10 minutes chasing her around. There was other rather provative stuff that I really can't say here, suffice it to say that they were events leading to more serious stuff. I had to chase my padawan out of the room. I can see something like that for a 10 pm show but not at 8 pm. Am I too much of a prude or am I overprotective of my padawan (okay, I'll admit to that one). Are times changing so quickly that something like that is a regular occurance on tv?

The WB has always had its clocks set ahead two hours. Don't worry about being a prude or anything DH, you are the best judge for what your padawan should watch, not some executives in a programming office.

Thanks Skyryder. I keep thinking of that line from the Simpsons. Marge and Homer are watching TV and I think it was Marge who says, Fox made the change to Porn so gradually it was hard to notice. I have the feeling that TV is headed that way. I still love watching "Leave It to Beaver". Then again, the plots were really predictable.

Mr. DH has walked into the room a couple of times while I watch "Lost" and he always says it looks too serious for him.
