Setting: Sith Temple, Korriban, The Old Republic

Name: Adara Funlamin Kheldor
species: Unknown

Age: 327
Home planet: Unknown
Rank: Jedi Master/Council member Previous to expullsion

Fallen Jedi Master Adara Kheldor follows and assasinates both master and apprentice sith, apprentice being old enough to face her trials (one well known trial was attempting the murder or defeat of your own sith master, the identities of sith apprentices are often kept sercret until they pass their trials and become a full fledged sith.) Adara passes herself off as the triumphant apprentice of Darth Vvinth, lady of the sith, who fought and destroyed her master.

A soft hiss murmurs from the ramp of the battered sith infiltrator as it slowly separated from the underside of the ship, a tall, graceful shade trod menacingly down the ramp, her dark robes whispering against the cloth of her black skirts, moving with the lulling sway of her gait as her footfall made no sound. The figure lifted a dark cowl from a face void of expression, revealing a mane of pale hair. She stood at attention and awaited an expected reception.

IC as Corska

Korriban; Tomb of Ludo Kressh; Daybreak

So there he sat, clad in old musty clothing scavenged from the bodies of Jedi and Sith alike, perched atop the freshly killed terentatek while wrapping his wounds. Corska, an abomination to both species whose blood ran thick through his veins, had exiled himself for the benefit of not angering the gods of the Kaleesh. Abominations were hated, and often killed, but seeing Corska as nothing more than an uncertainty, they allowed him to live. The fools. While the Kaleesh half of him was non-violent, the bastardized portion, the Barabel within him, lusted for revenge. His revenge had led him here, to Korriban, where the dark side beckoned to him like a lighthouse beacon in a sea of darkness.

?There my son, you are ready to hunt.? Rukska said to her child, her gaze loving and yet full of sadness. The Kaleesh maiden, whom had been confronted in a night of passion had been blessed with a child of another father? one not of Kaleesh ancestry. It showed in his mannerisms. For a boy, he was vicious and his temper wicked. Only sixteen, fully an adult in the eyes of the community, Corska was to partake on a pilgrimage to Abesmi where he was to ask the gods if he were truly a bad omen.

Mordel entered, his gaze stern behind his mask as he leered at the child that bore no semblance to him in appearance or phrase. The hunter eyed the boy as if he were prey himself, and often the two came to physical blows; though not on the part of Mordel, as Corska was always the first to throw a punch. The two stood silent for a long time before Rukska hugged her son and urged the two from the home with gentle hands, streams of tears running down her face.

Corska spat onto the cold tomb floor, his eyes scanning those who had failed to slay the terentatek where he, an outsider and hunter, had managed to do so without the blade of energy. The shattered lig blade he wore about his belt sufficed well enough in any situation, though it served no more a dagger than a sword. Jagged edges met the edentate?s throat and a mighty spin brought Corska atop it within that same moment. However, the beast had been focused on Corska for a time, and whether he knew it or not, the half-breed was tainted with the Force. It drove his actions?

The abomination licked his sharp teeth with a lizard-like tongue and hopped from the back of the creature, his clawed feet kicking a small metal object across the stone floor. It glinted in the faint light of the chamber, and rolled with a metallic clink until it stopped short of rolling into a massive crack in the floor. Corska stalked forward, his hand outstretched, almost mesmerized by the device. He has never seen such a thing, and his thoughts echoed the image in his mind. THWA-THUMP his heart beat heavily THWA-THUMP. Corska gulped, nearing the object less than a meter away. His fingers flexed for a moment and before he knew it the object flew towards him.

Corska hissed and ducked, feeling a cold metal graze his hand and suddenly warm to his scaled touch. From his cowering position of fear, the hunter rose and eyed the object for a moment longer, primitive instinct wondering what had possessed him to continue holding the object longer. Eight spindly fingers examined the object with a meticulous mission, eventually activating a blade of blue light. Corska leapt back and held the object at a distance, the hum of the blade resonating in the chamber and

There was no sound nor movement around the shadowy arch of the temple entrance, nothing stirred.. air began to warm and thicken with the oppressive silence and morning mist as the aging sun of the sith world crept over the rocky horizon of a desolate land. Surronding terrain absorbed crimson light into it's broken blackness. Korriban was a planet uninhabited with sentient life, other than that of the hidden empire of the sith, who, lived their lives in bodeful training, carving their homes and temple from the craggy black terrain of a forgotten planet.

Adara had lost her patience, she had waited near an hour at the foot of her ship in clear site of anyone who were to glance in her direction.. her eyes narrowed as she glided swiftly towards the entrance of the great Sith Temple.

The pride of the Sith, other than their mirrored prowess and adept with the universal force, was their temple, carved by hand by a thousand slaves over a course of a decade by the very stones of their dessert homeworld, a forboding structure specifically and intrically designed. From a distance one could have mistaken the fantastic building as a black mountain, so massive as it was.

Noislessly she entered, but as pridefully as she was expected to as a new sith master, never letting slip her gaurd as she made her way through the dark entrance hall.

OOC: I had to Wookipedia both your species and the planet Korriban.. there wasn't really any information on Kaleesh or Korriban.. or barabel, but I suppose that's the reason you chose them, more elbow room...

I don't really expound on my description, but I'll get into it with practice. I hope you forgive me in the meantime.

OOC: Don't worry about it as much, each player has their own style. Just roll with what you have. ;)

As far as Corska goes, much of his background and the background of his people will be in those minor flashbacks. And elbowroom is never a bad thing, keeps me open to suggestions or changes.

IC as Corska

Korriban; Tomb of Ludo Kressh; Daybreak

[blockquote]The robes of the Jedi burned quite well, and the blade of energy had impressed Corska to the point of starting a fire and consuming the meat of the beast he slew. It was tough and grainy, and was much like eating a soft rock, but the flavor was enough to keep him wanting more. Sinew and bone crunched between his powerful jaw as he ate much of his kill, finding that even a beast of such massive girth was nothing more than tough hide and no meat. The half-breed growled to himself, able to fill himself and sate his appetite, but he had desired more? for later perhaps.

The hunter stood, his hands reaching to check his gear before he departed the tomb in search of anything, a hint of something that could aid him in his journey. His lig sword at his hip, as well as the new sword that brought forth the blade of energy. It was all he needed aside from tooth and claw. The abomination looked to his clothing, a mismatch of sorts, a blend of his traditional hunters garb and Jedi and Sith accoutrements. His cloak wrapped about him, Corska strode down the dark, cool halls of the tomb, his sights unknowingly set on the temple further up the valley from where Ludo Kressh?s tomb stands.

[blockquote]The jungles of Kalee were dense enough that most often one would shoulder past one tree and collide with another. Mordel and Corska had been gone from their village for nearly half a day, and yet they made no progress whatsoever. Being young, Corska was full of energy but tired quickly, and Mordel took notice of it almost instantly. He pressed the boy onward, deeply wishing the pain of a weary body upon the lad. Corska proved weak in his resolve, urging to stop along a barely beaten path.

?If we stop now, the gods favor will likely leave you. Not as if they favored you to begin with,? Mordel scoffed, his gaze electric from behind the hunters mask. Corska looked up slowly and bared his sharp teeth, the teeth not of a Kaleesh but of a Barabel. Mordel slid back on his foot and watched as the boy lowered his guard, as if apologizing. ?Fool child,? Mordel said, grabbing the boy by the shoulder and dragging him along.

They paced for many miles and nearly three days had passed with little to no breaks. Mordel, weary from staying up at nights from watching the dangerous omen that lay before him. His mission was clear, he was to bring Corska to Abesmi, and to bring honor back to the disgraced tribe, sacrifice Corska to the gods.[/blockquote]

The valley sun was less than courteous, shining bright over the rocky regions and hinting at something in the distance. An echo pulsed in the back of Corska?s mind, yet he knew not what it was. It called to him like a war drum, his eyes scanning the area once again. His ship was crashed elsewhere, namely the uppermost crevasse near Ajunta Pall?s burial tomb, and the wounds sustained from the crash were minor. They surely didn?t slow him down during his encounter with the terentatek, and perhaps made his fight-or-flight mechanism set in, ensuring he would survive. His dark gaze met with something, a faint light, a red glowing beacon that flickered in his peripheral vision.

Corska turned and strode towards it, much like a hunter would stalk prey, sticking close to the valley walls as he squinted to focus on it. It was faint, his eyes losing track of it every so often, but with much of his focus, more clearly the image came into view. It held a shape, that of a humanoid, but of what race or intent he knew not. The half-breed moved quicker, almost as if he blinked he would lose track of his quarry. Yet unbeknownst to him, with much of his focus came expenditure of the Force, and he too shone like a bea

OOC: Indeed. Be sure to tell me what I can do to improve my writing.. any critisism is appreciated.

The air increasingly became more dense with the warmth of the morning sun, wamth that did not reach farther than the inner stoop of the temple entrance beyond the arch. As Adara moved more deeply through the temple the air became as chill as the surrounding blackness, as if the finely chizzled walls radiated a brooding bitterness. The fallen jedi was puzzled, the temple appeared to be deserted.. and none too recently.

Adara, though she was quite ancient as compared to most sentient races, was still a very young jedi. In her more than 300 years of practicing the force there were still many things she didn't understand, and though she was taught to avoid the "dark-side" it was the one aspect that intrigued her the most, and since her expullsion from the jedi order more than a century past she had been in deep study of the mysterious hidden side, never practicing but learning the side-effects and various abilities. The grand Jedi master had taken her aside personally more than one hundred years ago and advised her, though she was a well-respected member of the Jedi Council, that she must leave the order.. always in her own mind the main rules of the order offended her, and she had expressed her distain to another member of the Council. Her views should not have been expressed, nor her love for the other.. she had broken the most important of their laws. The High Council members did not know of her expullsion, the Grand Master made sure not to disgrace her great name to the other Jedi Knights, he told them that she was no more, that she was lost on a mission and died valiantly in the name of Justice! Her heart ached desperately to be home.. an ache that would never die with her long years. she had spent all her childhood in the halls of the Great Jedi Temple.. even after all this time she still longed to be home...

She ran an impatient hand through her silver mane, limp with gathering moisture, and sighed deeply. The Sith had deserted their temple what must have been months ago, but it wasn't uncommon for the order of Dark-Knights to move between Korriban and.. well, she didn't quite know where else. She had been watching and studying the sith for many decades An ever-so-slight tingling issued from the back of her mind, sending an electricity through her, alerting her of a disturbance in the living force.. something was drawing near.

OOC: Just get into the habit of using the TAG system. Much like the way it looks, you're "tagging" a player you're interacting with and it saves players a lot of time in most cases when it comes to reading material. Otherwise, you could mistake it for one player talking to you and you would be confused as if it were really your character or someone else.

IC as Corska

Korriban; Valley of the Dark Lords; Morning

[blockquote]Corska strode along the valley, his gaze set straight ahead, his steps quickening as they had during many a hunt on Kalee. He ran on the balls of his feet, his steps light and swift and his movements graceful like that of a bird. To go faster however, he found himself zigzagging through the valley, his clawed hands pressing off of one valley wall to the next as his pace quickened to a deadly straight sprint towards the Sith temple atop the Valley entrance. The beacon was bright and red now, seeming almost a vibrant shade of crimson. Oh how he loved that shade?

[blockquote]The trek had taken its toll on Corska, and Mordel finally urged the boy from the brush and the two stood before a great gathering of several hundred Kalee and among them, they had all gathered to witness what Corska thought was his final acceptance into the Kaleesh culture. He turned to Mordel, whose face was still hidden behind his hunting mask, though from his visible eyes Corska could see a smile.

The eager half-breed darted down from the jungle entrance and towards the beach where he found that the people did not open up to allow him passage by boat to the Island Monolith. Halting, he turned to Mordel.

?F-father?? Corska asked, a quiver in his voice, unsure of what was going on. The abomination saw many of the Kalee warriors and priests armed with spears and swords, and many even with Czerka rifles. Like a militia of a time gone by in another reality, they crouched and took aim with their rifles, the spearmen standing behind them, prepared to strike. Corska found himself backing up warily, fear overtaking him as he backed into the stern and firm chest of his step-father. With a slow turn, Corska could finally see the malice in the eyes that had smiled at him moments ago.

Mordel said nothing, his hands clenched firm along the lig blades at his sides. In an instant they were drawn with the skilled ease that many a hunter possessed. Corska leapt backwards and found himself closer to the warriors behind him. He stood with a startled yelp and backed up again, drawing his own blade. He and Mordel circled round, Mordel willing to sacrifice his footing for a powerful strike, both swords clanging with Corska?s. A shatter was heard and then silence?[/blockquote]

The half-breed Kaleesh stared up as he could finally see the temple, the doors closed tight. He had seen similar architectural pieces in his time, all of which were Kaleesh in design and origin, but nothing as impressive as what the Sith had built here. His sprint slowed to a halt as he could feel his heart beating within his temples. Anticipation and curiosity controlled him for now, and his hand reached out to touch the entryway door to the temple. The four fingers of his hand brushed across the door and unknowingly, his body emitted a sort of Force energy that caused the door to open.

Corska slid back and hissed violently as the door opened, expecting opposition yet found none. The beacon, or whatever it was, was inside. The reptilian alien crossbreed adjusted himself and in another quick, raptor-like sprint, entered the temple, his one hand prepared to grab his lig blade at any moment, the other hand prepped for a vicious slash or punch?[/blockquote]

OOC: I'm glad you informed me.. I wasn't entirely sure what "Tag" was..

IC: Adara

A sudden, light surge of power in the living force caused the Fallen Jedi to start, Adara twirled around, facing once more the entrance hall of the great Sith temple, she had felt rather than heard someone or something open the enormous doors in the levels below.. something had entered the Temple.

Calming herself, the would-be sith glided swiftly through the hallways of the upper floors, descending swiftly the twisting black staircases, feeling as though she were desending to olbivion, so bitterly cold it was in the heart of the stone building her breath came as a soft mist, framing her face in gentle gusts of presipitation. Adara slowed her pace, realizing suddenly that whatever she was rushing towards would most likely be startled by her sudden appearance.. slowing almost to a hault she stopped to consider, it was a strange coincidence for whatever or whoever had joined her company in the dark fortress to arrive the same dayas she.

She sighed as she swept up and back her thick mane of pale hair, notting it tightly behind her head. It was the one thing other than her clothes and lightsabre she allowed herself to have.. her gloriously long hair, the pride of her race and ancestors, the one adornment she was allowed.. her pale hair, when loose, fell far passed her knees, but was usually confined in either one or many braides and hidden behind her hood.

Master Adara sent out a probing tendril of the force, more out of curiosity than anything else, the being in the next room appeared to be force sensitive, but niether Jedi norSith...

Corska felt a chill run up his spine, yet that didn?t cause him to feel any more or less cautious than he had been. His steps continued on, the bare scales of his feet padding along on the cold stone floor. As a cold-blooded creature, he felt uncomfortable in such a place, but it wasn?t a natural chill he felt; it was more along the lines of fear. Corska hadn?t felt fear like this in a long time, but his animal urges told him to ignore it against the good limits of curiosity.

Mordel?s blade had shattered against the side of Corska?s own, the second blade coming millimeters from his face. The youth dodged backwards, the hunter stepping forward slowly, not caring for the condition of his blade. Mordel struck twice again, the half-breed dodging from side to side on the sandy beach, avoiding the statuesque bodies of the Kaleesh surrounding them. The Barabel in Corska was longing to strike, and upon trying to stand, he found himself on all fours and sprinting wildly at his step-father.

The Kaleesh gasped, feeling the heavy body of Corska thump into his midsection and sending the two sprawling to the sand. The struggle continued for a long time, Mordel trying to throw Corska from him, but only managing to block a vicious bite to the throat with his forearm. The sharp teeth of the abomination sunk deep into the scaled flesh of Mordel?s arm and the hunter wailed in pain. The half-breed leapt backward again, snarling as if having become feral, all sense of reason and rationality having left him.

?The boy is a beast, a curse upon the Kaleesh,? Mordel said, standing and holding his bleeding arm, the blood seeping onto the sand and quickly causing the droplets to compact the sand. ?For that, he and his harlot mother will be sacrificed,? Mordel turned his head to the monolith in the distance, a figure that could be made out without doubt of who it could be, being thrown from the tip of the structure and sent sprawling into the violent sea?

Corska rounded the corner, finding nothing but another dark area of the temple. This was growing to be more frustrating with every passing moment, and the abomination was wearing thin on his patience. His eyes focused, and he felt something tingle along the side of his body, an instinct told him that he wasn?t alone, and this wasn?t a beast he was dealing with. He drew the shattered lig blade and clenched his free hand, the joints popping. ?Step out of the shadows, demon. Whatever ambush you had planned has failed,?

OOC: ..did you want a bit more background on Adara?

IC as Adara

Adara could both feel and smell the creatures' fear; the being that rounded the corner in the entrance hall wasn't what she had expected, and whatever he was, he couldn't see her. The fallen Jedi stepped forth from the shadows, slowly so as to assure the other she wasn't attempting to attack him. She tilted her head to the side, gazing in almost wonderment at the newcomer; she raiseed her hands slowly to her hood, lowering th heavy cloth to reveal her pale, humanesque features, and then lowered her hands about halfway to her waist palms facing towards the reptilian being, revealing that currently she was unarmed. Her eyes briefly scanned over his dark figure, he didn't hold a sith weapon..

..what was he? His features were of a species she had never before seen, clearly reptillian, but not of any sort she knew. There were several races within the galaxy that never showed their faces, but rather hid thier racial features behind masqes carved from the bone of their native animals... perhaps this could be one of these? Her gaze became even more quizzical as she scanned his clothing, his batle stance, his weapon, which clearly was more than slightly barbaric.. his clothing was something else. Clearly whatever he was, he was not a sith, nor was he a native to this planet.

"I wasn't planning on ambushing you, comrade, it appears that my curiosity also got the better of me." A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth, "I don't plan on drawing my weapon as long as you don't try to attack me."

The demon wasn?t planning on drawing a weapon? It was just as well, seeing as Corska couldn?t discern the location of the woman in the darkness of the temple. His reptilian eyes focused, his slit pupils focusing in the darkness, his spine still feeling the tingle of energy. His hand visibly and audibly clenched on the hilt of the lig blade, his scaled hands rubbing harshly along the carefully banded hilt of the sword. His eyes scanned once again, trying to catch a trace of any visible beings.

Corska screamed in horror as he watched the figure fall from the monolith, his heart nearly wrenching itself from his chest. He cast a vicious glance to Mordel, who bowed his head solemnly. The rest of the Kaleesh had not done so, but Corska in a fit of rage lunged at his step-father, clawing at him with his bare hands. The vicious claws granted to him by his Barabel blood scathed deep beneath Mordel?s flesh, and the hunter yelped in fear and pain.

Something triggered in Corska as the other hunters aimed their spears and rifles, and the half-breed spun quickly avoiding several of them. He wasn?t sure how he had done it, but his eyes were focused and filled with a new sense of sight. He could feel movement around him, and he darted from side to side, avoiding the slugs launched at him by the Kaleesh rifles. The hunters were careful with their aim, knowing that a false move could harm one of their own.

Corska scanned the beach in a brief moment, snatching up the shattered lig blade that Mordel had used against him, spinning around in an unknown fury and barreling past the stunned Kaleesh warriors. He sunk the blade beneath the ribs of one, clothes lining the other and bringing them both down. More shots were fired, followed by many spears as the half-Barabel dove into the waves of the sea and swam towards the monolith?

His reptilian eyes squinted as he searched for some trace of this stranger. Nothing. ?You call me comrade, have we met before?? He asked, looking around, keeping at least one hand free, tossing the shattered blade from one hand to the other as a practiced swordsman or knife fighter would do. Corska?s steps kept him moving, his tail slithering along the ground behind him, sweeping up dust as he desperately tried to find the source of the voice.

?If you come not to ambush me, then explain why I have come here,? His thoughts trailed off. ?If you are a demon, you have an explanation. I require such explanation,? Corska stopped spinning in his steps, hoping that in the dim light the warrior or demon would step forward and face him.

Adara gazed in mild disbelief at the reptilian force-adept before her,
he sensed her.. but he did not see her. Most reptilian species she had
come in contact had at least the ability to see in infrared.. perhaps
this wasn't a aptitude of his species? The fallen-jedi shifted forward
from the shadows, stepping soundlessly the few steps toward a dim pool
of light. She smiled gently as the shadows fell from her smooth
features, and dropped her hands to her side.

The former Jedi master was tall for a human, at least as far as females
go, standing nearly a full two meters Adara could often be found
intimidating without meaning to, and stood out in a crowd almost as
badly as a loose rancor.. During the long years of her exile she had
spent most of her time training and studying, building another
lightsabre, and spying on the Sith. She had live alone in the deep
jungle of a barbaric world on the outer rim, hunting her own food and
living in a crudely made, supposedly temporary, wooden hut.. not leaving
the planet until it was absolutely necessary. A characteristic of her
species was shape-shifting, a useful skill in some cases. The fallen
jedi could shift into anything that appeared to be remotely human, the
only problem is that whatever species she shifted to also shifted to the
same height as she, and so as not to cause suspicion or negative
interest her options were limited. There were very few species where the
females tended to be as tall as she, so she found that it was less
trouble to remain in hiding than to live among the populace of any
humanoid species..

"The only explanation I can give you for your presence here is that you were drawn to me by the force, a universal power that connects all life-forms. There are a select few that can tap into this power, you seem to be gifted as one of these few..."

he finaly got to the academy and used the force
to open the huge door. The academy was empty, but
he could sence two precenses down the hall.If they
had heard or saw the door open they might attack whem
they saw me. He clenched his lightsaber and walked forward,
down a curve and down another, until he saw a creature and a
tall women. He wached from the corner hoping they wouldn't
see him.The two people talked, and Zendur poped out from the corner
when they finsihed and walked forward into the shdows quietly so the women could see
him only.

"Hello, i'm Zendur" He said, looking wierdly at the creature turning around
looking from where the voice came from. He stepped back a bit seeing the creature getting

Korriban; Sith Temple Interior; Mid-Morning

Corska could finally see the stranger as she stepped out from the dark. She put strange speech upon him, and were he not so firmly set against it, it could have been deemed a distraction by the half-breed. His reptilian eyes scanned her over for a quick moment before his posture lost most of its hunch to assume a more humanoid-like stance. His garb was ripped and torn, mixes and matches of both Sith and Jedi robes, as well as his Kaleesh rags that he had since he had left his homeworld. The only recent additions seemed clean as the rest seemed dusty and worn with years as his bare feet slid on the temple stone floors.

"This Force connects me? Can it connect me to my father?" Corska asked, knowing he did not mean the betraying Kaleesh hunter Mordel. He wanted to find his real father, the one who caused him such distress among the people who served as his family for so long. The one who caused his mother to die, the one who made Corska what he was... an abomination.

Corska emerged from the sea near the monolith, panting and gasping and nearly choking on water. The swim was horrible, and the waves unforgiving. He crawled onto the beach and noticed the shattered body of his mother, broken on the rocky beach. Her arm was bent at an awkward angle, the back of her head was caved in, and worse yet, the smaller scavengers on the beach had already deemed her ready to be a meal.

Corska chased them off with the blade and scurried to his mothers side, lifting her into his arms. His face wanted to bear emotion, but all he could do was siss to himself, cradling his mothers body against him. The half-Barabel would have been lost in the moment were it not for the cocking of the rifles ahead on the beach. Corska stood, the shattered blade his only weapon now.

"You bear the blood of another in you, one who curses our people. It had been foreseen when you were conceived," The temple elder stated, his elaborate mask obscuring his face from view. They watched as Corska fumed and hissed violently at them. They could tell he wanted an answer for killing his mother, so the elder continued to speak. "Your mother went outside of the tribe, and for that she was punished. We will not however, punish you in the same manner..." The elder raised his staff and without warning Corska charged again, shrieking wildly. A mighty leap into the air and he was on them instantly, several gunshots heard in the distance...

The half-Barabel looked over the stranger for a moment before finally lowering his guard for a moment. "This Force, can I use it to find him? I wish to use it as a tool, to hunt for those I have lost. Will you--" Corska's words were cut off by the arrival of another, and he instantly went back to his guard, sissing at the newcomer and crouching down to three of his four limbs, the other holding the broken blade as his only weapon.

Corska's tail swished violently and he propped himself up on the balls of his feet, standing slightly stooped as he had when he first entered the temple. His slit-pupils slid wide for a moment before he prepared himself to lunge, but paused noting the stranger having introduced himself. Corska spoke and growled. "I care not what your name is," He spun and pointed his blade at the strange female as well. "And you, reveal your name..."

IC: Adara

Adara started at the strangers? sudden appearance, her hand going to the hilt of her lightsabre as she probed him gently with her mind.. it was odd that she hadn?t sensed him before he had taken them by surprise.. her piercing grey eyes sized the newcomer, just by the way he carried himself she knew he was force sensitive, and trained at that.. though it must have been poorly.

Her hand retracted from the hilt of her weapon and her features softened once again as she gently and honestly addressed the latter question of the reptilian adept, ?My name is Adara, and I was formerly a great teacher of the Jedi arts.? She smiled as she addressed his former concern, ?I have no doubt that if you are properly trained in the ways of the force you will be able to locate your father. If you?ll let me, I?ll show you the ways of the force?? her gaze went to his clothing, ragged, torn, and not decently covering his proud form, she had no doubt that this creature was an outcast.. and hadn?t eaten well in at least a few days. ?What is your name, creature??

He looked at them wondering what she would say.

"I am a former Jedi and Sith, I left both and now I use the force for my own needs" Zendur Interupted
putting his hand on his Lightsaber. Zendur put his hood over his head.

IC as Corska

Korriban; Sith Temple Interior; Late-Morning

Corska had thought on revealing his name to this woman, unsure if it were the wisest thing to do. She may have been an enemy to the Kaleesh people, or perhaps an ally of his father's. He knew nothing of this woman, or even the man that now stood before them. This man was a stranger, and had found them all too easily. Perhaps he could see ghostly shapes as Corska could, spotting the red filmy aura that permeated the woman, Adara, as well as a similar film around the newcomer.

Corska licked his claws of the blood of the elders, having slain them with his bare hands. He did not remember doing it, his mind blanked out by rage and fear. Rage against the betrayal of his step-father, his clan, and fear that he could not save his mother. She was the only one who cared for him... the only one. Corska stood and hoisted himself up, startled at what he had done, stepping back and tripping over the still-moving body of one of the elder hunters.

"C-corska... kan Lo-lorhen..." The elder coughed, blood spurting through the nostril holes of the mask. The half-Barabel knelt next to the hunter and removed the mask, seeing the full Kaleesh face of the hunter, smeared with blood. "Y-y-you... m-must leave Ka-lee..." The hunter coughed again, Corska holding the man's head up as he looked around, spying in the distance several longboats launching from the shore where he had engaged Mordel in combat.

"Where am I to go elder? I... cannot leave my mother unburied! I cannot leave--"

"Silence!" The elder coughed violently and Corska cradled the head of the dying elder. He tried to shush him to sleep, so his death may be peaceful and that he may join the gods. "Th-there is a ship... n-near the top of the monolith. Take it... and go..."

Corska would not protest, hearing the raging sea as the tide swept in, and in the distance he heard the battle cries of the Kaleesh warriors. He clawed his way to the steps of the temple monolith, his heart racing as he pounded up the stairs, his legs numb with fear. He did not know how to pilot a ship, and where would he go? His eyes watered as he neared the top of the monolith, a gunshot grazing his shoulder as he appeared to the Kaleesh warriors below. Out of all the cries of hatred, one stood out the most as he heard Mordel scream his name...

"Corska kan Lorhen." He spoke, telling the two strangers his name, his reptilian eyes now focused strictly on Adara. "Teach me the ways of this Force. I too will use it for my own needs." He would not tell them that he planned to find his father, for Adara likely knew that already. He would find his father and confront him as he had done those who had wronged him in the past. His eyes grew calm as he stood straight, seemingly as tall as the newcomer, but not nearly as tall as the woman.

"Where do we begin?"

Her eyes sparkled, glad at his response; the force was strong with this young reptile.. his power was promising, but his fear and anger burned in him like a torch, silently she vowed to herself that she wouldn't allow it to become his funeral pyre. Adara gently reached out and patted her new padawan on the shoulder, tossing a peircing glance to the Zendur creature. She wasn't sure of him, but it didn't matter.. unless he decided to follow them.

The fallen jedi master drifted back towards the entrance hall of the great temple, "We begin immeadiately, but first we must return to my home.. this planet isn't suitable for proper training." She turned slightly to give him a meaningful look. "I will teach you what you need to know." She hadn't had a padawan in close to two centuries, and it seemed ages since she had been a padawan.. more than 300 years.. Adara let her remenisc dissapate from her thoughts as she turned them to her immeadiate surroundings, "Follow me to my ship."
