Falling, Declining, Diminishing, Beginning


Stars are burning
Like the sun rising
The moon dying
I come around
To swim in a sea
That has lost its appeal


Morning has broken
Like the moon rising
The sun dying
I go to sleep
To walk in a world
That has a ghost image to it


The harbour is at the horizon
Like a sea drained
The fish falling
I start to fall
To move in a fiery circle
That has neither end nor beginning


The city is building before my eyes
Like a stone crumbling
The pieces burning
I lie around
To feel the ice gathering
That will freeze my passing to yours

Unlike other times, I actually read this one aloud to myself. I like the whole poem, so I can't pick out a specific stanza I like the best.
