Jaina was wandering the streets of Cyprus, her young daughter toddling behind.
Clarissa was happy to be on her feet, and she was giggling and touching almost everything that caught her eye.
?Wha' t'is?? Claire would ask, holding up a piece of charred metal or rock.

And every time she asked, her mother would answer, ?Junk, sweetie. Put it down.?

Jaina was surveying the damage, looking miserable, when a familiar voice called her name.
Thinking the voice belonged to Kyp, she turned. Jag Fel ran forward and hugged her, twirling her around.
?Jaina! Oh, baby, it's you!? He set her down, and she surveyed the man she'd once loved.

?Hi, Jag,? she said with a grin. He leaned in to kiss her, but she pulled back. ?Jagged Fel! We're in public, and I'm a married woman.? Jaina said sternly.

?I missed you, Jaina. Did you not miss me?? Jag appeared hurt.

She sighed. ?I did at first, but I'm not one to demand a divorce, so I moved on,? Jaina sighed. It didn't do any good to beat around the bush. ?I love my husband, Jag.? He looked as if he had been punched in the stomach. Just then, Clarissa toddled up, holding half of a plasma gun.

?Wha' t'is??

Jaina looked down at her daughter fondly. ?It's junk, sweetie. Put it down, please,? Clarissa attempted to toss it away while her mother picked her up. ?Jag, this is my daughter, Clarissa Kaya. Claire, this is Mr. Jag.?

?Unca Jag,? Claire grinned.

?Alright, fine. Uncle Jag,? Jaina laughed, turning to him. ?You don't mind, do you??

Jag blinked twice. ?Uhh ... no, I don't mind.?

?Are you surprised??

?That you have a daughter?? His voice squeaked.

?Overall,? Jaina sighed.

?I didn't think that you would get over me this soon,? Jag stated truthfully. ?I'm certainly not over you.?

Jaina smiled. ?I will always love you, Jag, but I no longer love you like that.?

Jag smiled in return. ?Thanks, Jaya.?

?You want to stick around?? She asked, hoisting her daughter up higher. ?My husband is going to take his lunch break soon.?
Kyp chose that moment to show up.

?Hey, baby,? he kissed her quickly. Clarissa giggled and held out her hands to her father. ?Hey, little one,? Kyp took her into his arms and gave her a butterfly kiss.

?Kyp, this is my old friend, Jag. Jag, this is my husband, Kyp Durron.?

Kyp grinned courteously, shaking Jag's hand. ?Hey, Jag, nice to meet you.?
Jag smiled back, quickly determining that Jaina was in good hands.

?You, too,? Jag withdrew his hand. ?I guess I'd better go. I'll see you around.?

?Bye, Jag,? Jaina waved. He walked off.
Kyp turned to his wife.

?You okay??

?Yeah,? she said, sounding relieved. ?Yes, I do believe I am.?

?I've arranged for you and Clarissa to leave for Yavin 4 tomorrow,? Kyp stated.

?Alright,? Jaina held her daughter's hand playfully.

?I won't keep you away long,? Kyp smiled. ?I promise.?
