Evan, IN Family Guy Star Wars Special VIEWING PARTY!!

So, the season premier of Family Guy is Sept 23, just a few weeks away. Time to start finalizing the party. I know that Chuck said he would be willing to host it. Chuck, does that offer still stand? If so, great! If no, we'll have it at Stacky and my apartment. Please let us know by posting in this thread if you will be coming or not.

Directions from Evansville:
Take the Lloyd to Mount Vermin. Turn RIGHT at Tile Factory Road like you're going toward the high school. Go over the railroad tracks and turn LEFT onto Sherman St as soon as you pass over them. The street will curve to the right, follow that curve. You should now be on Harriet St. Go to Davis Drive and turn Left. You will have no other choice at that point. My house is on the corner of Davis and Fairview. It is a light-colored brick house with a black lamp post and a wrought iron fence. There should be a Mt Vermin H2O truck somewhere close. The address is 809 Davis Drive.

Directions from New Harmony:
Come into town and turn LEFT at IGA onto Lincoln or Sherman. Either one will work. Go to Fairview and turn LEFT again. I live on the corner of Davis and Fairview. You literally cannot miss it. if you don't turn or stop at some point you'll run into my dining room.

Dimaggio's currently takes about an hour to make a pizza. Alcohol is permissible within reason.

What time does it start and what should I bring?

 

The show starts at 8pm, so we want to get started a little earlier. I don't have a fire pit yet. I may just set up a bonfire. I have a full tank in the gas grill. Stacky mentioned burgers and weenies. Do we want to do that instead of pizza? We should prolly start that as early as we can. We'll git some tater salad and make a couple of jugs of tea. We kinda need a plan.

Chuck, is Posey County under a burn ban like Vanderburgh? That might limit the amount of "burning" we can do (Crystal Star, etc ).

 

Aw crap! you are right. Hillbilly Holler is also under the ban. It was in the Posey news earlier this week. I'm still using my tiki torches for those of you who insist on a flame of some sort.

Wanna go with an 18" cheese pizza? I don't what everyone's tastes are, so I'm going safe. It looks like right now we have 8 people, I think, so if we all bring 2-3 dollars, that'll cover the pizza plus the tip. Thanks! Don't forget to bring your own drinks!

 

JMJ you said you might be bringing some n00bs? Are they included in the 8 people you mentioned?

I can stop at Wallyworld at grab a pack of hot dog and hamburger buns, paper plates, and condiments unless someone else wants to spring for some of that.

Is one pack of buns each enough? Or should I get two each?
