Okay, this may or may not be the last post for over a week.

Malisia woke up at the sound of her father?s voice. ?Daddy!? she said happily, leaping into his arms.

Jag held her tightly. ?Oh Force, baby, I missed you so much.?

?I missed you too, Daddy.?

Jag couldn?t do anything but hold her tightly. Tears were streaming down his face. He was so happy to have her back. He loved her beyond words.

After a few minutes, Jag stuck out his hand. ?Thank you for bringing Malisia back, Lowie. I?m glad to see that you?re safe.?

The Wookie rumbled a bit before grabbing Jag, with Malisia in his arms, into a fierce hug. Jag returned it.

Jaina, who had been awakened by the noise, padded over to the door in her bare feet. ?Malisia!?

?Mommy!?

Jaina reached over and took the little girl from Jag. Jag put his arms around both of them and held them tightly. This is my family. It doesn?t matter that Jaina and I aren?t married or that Malisia is adopted. We?re a family.

Lowie growled softly, and Jaina reluctantly handed her daughter back to Jag before embracing her old friend. ?Lowie! I?m so glad you?re safe! How did you get out??

//It?s a long story.//

Jaina stood back. ?Come in and you can tell us. If you?re not too tired, that is.?

Lowie shook his head. //I need to report to Master Skywalker, and you should spend time with your daughter.//

Jaina smiled. ?Thank you, Lowie.?

The Wookie hugged her again before leaving.

Wedge was not happy when a pounding on the door woke him up. Who needs me this badly in the middle of the night? Whoever it is will wake the whole house up!

Iella rolled over. ?Who do you think that could be??

?I don?t know, but it had better be important,? Wedge growled, getting out of bed and putting a robe on. ?I?ll be back.?

?Check on the girls; make sure they weren?t woken up,? Iella replied sleepily. ?Come get me if it?s important.?

Wedge walked over to the front door. He threw it open. ?What do?Natasha, what are you doing here??

His niece was standing at the door in a robe and slippers. ?Hi, Uncle Wedge. Is Aunt Iella awake? It?s really important.?

?I am now.? Iella walked out of the bedroom, yawning. ?What?s the matter, sweetie??

?There?s, ah . . .? Natasha looked at her uncle, wondering if she should say it in front of him. I can trust him, and besides, he?ll find out sooner or later. ?Troy Skywalker asked to see you.?

?What?!? Wedge exploded.

Syal raced out of her bedroom blaster in hand. ?What?s wrong??

Iella shook her head at Syal and Myri, who had come out of her bedroom rubbing her eyes. ?Nothing, girls. Go back to sleep.?

?Only if Dad promises to stop yelling,? Myri muttered, yawning.

?He promises,? her mother replied, shooting a glare at Wedge. ?Goodnight.? The girl turned around and went back into their rooms, slamming their doors simultaneously.

She turned back to Natasha. ?Troy is here??

Natasha nodded. ?Ganner took him to see Master Skywalker.?

Iella nodded. ?Give me a minute to get dressed.?

Luke reached out with the Force to see who had knocked on their door. ?It?s Ganner.?

Mara gave him a sleepy look. ?Could there be trouble with the babies??

Luke shook his head. ?I don?t think so, but whatever it is, it?s important.? He got out of bed and quickly pulled clothes on.

When he opened the door, he saw that Ganner wasn?t the only one standing there. ?Tesar?? And . . . ?Troy??

?Hello, Uncle Luke.? Luke was surprised that Troy had called him ?uncle?. He had never done that before.

Luke exchanged a look with Ganner. ?I think we need to talk.?

Luke shook his head. ?Let me get this straight. Trisha came to you and told you to come back, so you got Nyda, Garrett, Lowie, Tesar, and Malisia and escaped. Then you went to Natasha to ask for forgiveness.?

Troy nodded, and Luke ran his hands through his hair. Mara and Iella exchanged looks. ?Luke, you can trust him,? Iella said. Luke saw Troy shoot her a grateful look.

Natasha and Ganner were sitting together in a chair, talking softly. Luke?s heart went out to the young couple. Troy had almost killed their unborn children, and now they had accepted that he didn?t want to hurt the babies.

?Can I talk to you alone?? Luke asked his nephew. Troy nodded and followed him into the kitchen.

Before Luke could say anything, Troy burst out, ?Uncle Luke, I?m so sorry! I don?t know what I can do to repent, but whatever it is, I?ll do it.?

?All you have to do,? Luke said, ?is walk in the light.?

?That?s it?? Troy asked incredulously.

?That, and ask for forgiveness from everyone you have hurt. That means Jaina.?

Troy sighed. ?She?ll kill me. Not that I don?t deserve it,? he added bitterly.

Luke put a hand on his nephew?s shoulder. ?Don?t think that way. If you ask her for forgiveness?probably after all her weapons have been thoroughly hidden?then she will probably give you the answer that Ganner and Natasha did.? Luke smiled. ?Iella vouches for you.?

?I don?t know why,? Troy replied.

?Iella has always been a good judge of character. She sees something good in you.?

Troy nodded. ?Jaina isn?t the only one I need to apologize to.?

?Oh??

?Please forgive me,? Troy whispered.

His uncle smiled gently. ?Troy, I already have.?

I'm quite proud of Troy actually. It takes guts to wake Mara up in the middle of the night like that. I'd be terrified to have to apologize to Jaina and Jag.

As for Celeste, I don't see her coming around. Ever.
