Harrar looked over the Shamed Ones gathered near the Citadel. ?The Goddess Yun Harla has given us her blessing!? he told the crowd. ?Now is the time to attack!?

?We shall overthrow the Overlord!? the crowd screamed back.

Harrar replied, ?Go!? The crowd surged as they headed into the Citadel.

The High Priest smiled. Jaina Solo hadn?t exactly given her blessing?she didn?t even know about the civil war he had just started. If h had his way, by the end of the day he could send her a message that the Yuuzhan Vong High Command was gone.

He didn?t know what would happen to the Yuuzhan Vong once he had control. He only knew that he would surrender the entire species to the goddess.

Zekk surveyed the controls of the Lightning Rod. His old ship had been given to him by Peckhum, the man who had raised him. It had served both of them well, and would now serve Zekk once again.

He couldn?t stay here. He wanted nothing to do with Celeste or the baby, and Jaina had made it clear that she did not love him. My lost love.

Jaina was happy with Jag and Malisia. She had told him that she thought that he should marry Celeste and raise the baby. I can?t do that, love. I can?t stay here and be with someone else, and watch you love another man.

No, this way was best. He would just leave. Celeste could do whatever she wanted with the baby; he didn?t care.

Zekk didn?t know what he would do. He couldn?t be a Jedi, or a bounty hunter. He would find something, he always did. Maybe a supply hauler. The Rod had done that before.

Zekk took off, leaving the military base far behind. Once he was out of the atmosphere, he entered in hyperspace coordinates. He pulled the lever, and the Lightning Rod shot into hyperspace.

That was the last they ever saw of Zekk.

The attack had taken them by surprise. They had gotten over it quickly, however, and fought back. But what the army had in strength, the Shamed Ones had in numbers. It was a bloody battle that lasted three days instead of the one that Harrar had predicted.

After what seemed like a lifetime, it was over. They had killed Warmaster Nas Choka and Onimi, the Supreme Overlord?s pet. Shimrra himself was a captive, and being held in the throne room by a strong guard.

It was time to contact the Goddess.

Jaina?s comlink buzzed, and she frowned. She really wanted to spend time with her daughter. Jag leaned over and kissed her forehead. ?Better see if it?s important, sweetheart. Besides, Malisia is asleep.?

Jaina nodded and answered the comlink. ?Solo here.?

?Goddess, there is a message down here marked as urgent.?

?It can?t wait??

?No, Great One.?

Jaina sighed. ?Who is it from??

?High Priest Harrar.?

I'm alive!!! Though I don't feel like it...ugh! I am exhausted. Met Rob at Downtown Disney for dinner on Saturday; went to Universal Studios on Sunday (ran into Rob after lunch); spent the entire day Monday at Epcot (met Rob before lunch, went back to their hotel to go swimming, then went back to Epcot for the fireworks show); on Tuesday we went to Magic Kingdom in the morning and MGM at around 2-ish (met Rob at MGM); went to Animal Kingdom Thursday morning (met Rob there too!!)!!!!!!!

We were s'posed to leave Thursday afternoon but decided to stay another day so we went back to MGM Thursday afternoon, but had to leave at about 5:15 because it started raining! And today we just drove for over 15 hours!!!!!


EDIT: Oh, and excellent posts Nat!!! I would have better responses but my brain is dead right now......................................
