ON Famous Players releases 12:01 a.m. shows for AotC

As of about 2:30 p.m. Monday May 13th, Famous Players has released 12:01 a.m. Thursday May 16th shows in most theatres opening AotC.

Everyone that was concerned about the quality of presentation at other theatres for midnight shows can now see one in the state-of-the-art theatres Famous Players provides.

Hopefully, there are many fans who have not yet committed to other locations for the first screening and will be able to take advantage of this new showtime.

If you need to exchange previously purchased tickets for other showtimes at FP theatres I'm sure the staff and managers will help you with this. They will probably take issue with your exchanging tickets but will understand your excitement at seeing the first showing.

I went and exchanged my noon tickets for the 12:01 showing at Silver City in Ottawa!!!!!

She said I was the first to get tickets for that showing.....

Luckily for us, our theatre isn't doing it, we have already advertised heavily we are holding an overnighter for charity. I can wait 12 more hours to see it, if its all in the name of a good cause.

 

I knew this would happen. Buy tickets at World Exchange and a show will be announced. Don't buy tickets and it will sell out and FP won't do a midnight showing.

I wonder if I could return the World Exchange tickets. Damn. Damn. Damn.

 

Getting tickets for AotC is not very difficult. Last I checked in Ottawa, there were no shows which had sold over half of capacity, with only 2 days to go.

There just isn't the hype there was for EP1.

 

Looks like the silvercity midnight show isn't available online.

Anyone heard if there were tickets still for the 12:01 am? I'm not going to be in Ottawa until tomorrow afternoon though, but maybe my brother can buy us tickets.

To buy the midnight showing you have to pick May 15th as the date.

Theatres put all showtimes that are shown within a business day on the same date in their computers, regardless of what the actual date is.
