Fan Choice Figure #5

I'm batting 1 for 4 in the Fan Voting Polls. In the first one, i voted for Duros. #2 i voted for Admiral Ozzel (Already have an Amanaman!) #3 i voted for General Rieekan and #4 i voted again for General Rieekan. I just wish they would clear up the legal issues so that they can make the Tonnika Sisters. I think if they ever make it to the poll, its gonna be a landslide!

 

TOBBI_DALA, can you tell me the whole story about the Tonnika sisters? Something like people were arguing who had the rights to them because they died or something like that, I don't really know the whole sotry.

Ok. Here is what i know. I posted this on another thread, the one about the Cantina Collection. When Star Wars was being filmed, the two actresses that played Brea and Senni Tonnika (Angela Staines and Christine Hewitt)never signed the release forms to have their likenesses used for action figures and posters and stuff like that. This was originally posted in a "Question Mark" article on Rebelscum.com. Without their signatures, no action figures can be made. As far as i know, both actresses are still alive. As to why they wont sign it's beyond me..i would LOVE to be immortalized in plastic!

Captain Antilles : 23 %

Dodonna is still way in the lead.

Okay, Ben Quadrinaros is the WORST looking, cheesy, cartoonishly fake alien in Star Wars HISTORY!!!!

He should NEVER be made into a figure and should be DELETED from the DVD of TPM.

In any event, the other choices are fine. if these early results are any indication, I'd be happy with either Antilles or Dodonna...

but who the heck wants a lame Wookie senator? Over RABE???

Personally, I'd love to see a handmaiden over any of those others, but it doesn't look like it'll happen. But, please, stop voting for that stupid wookiee!

Must be the same group of boneheads who voted for that awful "concept stormtrooper" over all of the other GREAT suggestions for Poll #4.....

 

Actually, i voted for the Wookiee Senator. I did not vote for the Stormtrooper. I voted for General Rieekan for the 2nd time. I figured why vote for Rabe, its just Padme in another outfit. To each their own.

 

I would rather have "some stupid wookie" than Dodonna, I don't understand why he's doing so well.

Well Dodonna is still winning thank goodness

We need a good Dodonna figure so that we can finish up the Celebration scene from the end of A New Hope.

 

If General Rieekan can be offered as a choice for a Fan Choice figure twice, then why hasn't Yareal Poof been offered again? He would win against those other lame choices.

Dodonna would be my second choice, even though I voted for the wookie.

I know how you can change your vote if you want to: Say you voted for Antilles, but now you'd prefer Dodonna. You vote twice for Dodonna to 1. make up for the vote to Antilles and 2. vote again as if you were voting for the first time. If you think about it, it does work out.

And while a handmaiden may jsut be Padme in another outfit there certainly should be a handmaiden figure sometime.
