Welcome to Fan Design: Sites and Graphics, the Jedi Council Board?s source for discussion on all aspects of online fan design, such as websites, graphics, banners, icons, and a number of others! This thread is broken down into four sections: About, Rules, Thread Index, and Reference Guide. Should you have any questions, feel free to speak with the board?s manager, Grimby the Hutt, who will reply to you as soon as possible! Active users will also be happy to help you!

About the Fan Design Board

Fan Design: Sites and Graphics came about after it was decided to close the old Fan Sites board, which was not receiving much traffic nor was it deemed capable of living up to the potential that many people saw in it. In order to have more discussion and feedback oriented threads as opposed to simply advertisements, it was decided to create Fan Design for banners, icons, and general web designing, although strictly Jedi Council Community icons will remain in the thread in the Communications board.

As said, this board still includes discussion on all aspects of web design, but it also includes graphic design and other relevant topics. The board is not an advertisement board for websites or a strictly show off board for other websites or any other work, but rather a place for users to seek help and feedback on their design, or discuss the technical aspects of their design. The board is hope to tutorials and help threads for website design and graphic design, as well as the creation of Jedi Council community banners and icons, although in-house banner and icon discussion will remain, as said, in their respective Communications board threads.

Rules

Like any board, there are a few rules that we kindly ask that you follow in order to make this board the best it can be, but there are also a few that ensure that this board is not stepping on anyone else?s toes.

1) All relevant Jedi Council Community Rules and the Jedi Council Terms of Service must be followed.

2) Advertising websites is strictly forbidden. If a user?s point in posting a thread is to say ?come to my site,? or ?I just made this,? or ?I need some admins, anyone interest?? then the thread will be locked. Threads must focus on feedback, discussion, and other relevant topics.

3) Websites linked to in this board must adhere to the Jedi Council Terms of Service or the link will be removed and the thread will be locked.

4) Discussion on the implementation of Jedi Council banners and icons must be kept in their respective Communications board threads.
