I know The Barrows Man is still in production, but I'v been thinking about the proposed SW Fan Film we are going to make. Wondering who would play what type character. This is how I see it:

me- A brooding Anakin-like Jedi who doesnt like anyone

    Riff- the evil Sith lord

Fett- a bounty hunter (what else?!)

    Entropy- a Republic Senator

Lodreh- head of a crime ring or smuggling group(surrounded by blue Twylleks of course)

    Kaiser- great Jedi Master

    Kazuma- Kaiser's Padawan

    Mordtat- Riff's evil henchman

Hawthorne- Yoda (just kidding :D )

    Joe-Lodreh's majordomo

    Knightwing- club or bar owner

Of course, we can adlib parts as needed.

    *edited to add Knightwing*

It's cool if I'm not up there, I completely understand. But, I do look forward to the day that I get to meet the newer members of this grand collection of fine people of my fellow race of humankind. o_O

But my question is this, does anyone have an idea for the plot for the fan film?

Thought you would like that, Mordtat. [face_skull] I can just see you, standing at Riff's character's side while confronting some Jedi, or whomever, DARING them to make a move.

No plot yet. Hell, no script yet. Just lots of thoughts and ideas. Once Barrows Man is finished, I think we were going to get into it more. Joe-Da is the movie man, I just came up with this off the top of my head. Certainly want you involved, FT. Its a shame we cant get R2FU..you know, to join us. Hey, he could do his part via hologram. :D

I could see that. After all, an Ewok is sort of like a miniture Wookie. :)

    "It's an Ewok."
"Aye, but a very vicious Ewok!"

    Whoops, wrong thread. :D

And yeah, we just have to remind Mordtat not to look at other folks while standing there all vicious and say, "Applesauce, beeyotch!"

Another question, we are going to do these Star Wars fan films right, right? I mean full length. That's basically the best way I can even think of trying to do this. What you all?

I'm thinking that just getting a 15 to 30 minute film is going to be rather ambitious. Especially if there are any scenes with more than 2 or 3 people together. I think Joe's already put quite a few hours into the filming The Burrowsman and probably only has about 30 minutes of useable footage.

Another thing to remember is that we have no budget for special effects, props, or scenary. Any script that we consider needs to take that into account.

Of course, I'm pretty sure we can get some good basic Force effects though with no problems. I just don't think we can pull off a space battle scene or something like that. But, I do believe we can pull off a full length trilogy of films. It might take awhile, but I think it'll be worth it. I mean, so far as I know about us, is that we like to do things the best as we can. Never half-@$$ed. A trilogy is the best way to do it. But, that's my opinion.
