Hello new and valued members to the JC!

We at Fan Force British Isles otherwise known as FF-UK hope that you will pay us a visit and join our little community!

FF-UK is made up primarily of people from across the British Isles (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland and all the other little islands around the costline such as the Isle of Man).

Anyway, you don't have to be British or Irish to post. Heck! You don't even have to have British ancestry. Even if you only like the Britsh sense of humour come along!

Post, be merry, and prepare to be some what confused at times!

Hi I've been on other broads for some time and stop here to say hello.

I'll have a tea but no cucumber sandwiches I like spam.

 

Spam is an excellent choice!

 

FFUK is funnier. It means we can say things like "For FFUK's sake!"

I think it's our Commonwealth duty to post on FFUK/FFBI/BIFF boards. They need to be reminded how cool Australians are.

The Commonwealth is no a longer British thing - South Africa was never a British colony. Lucky them huh

 

Of course the Commonwealth exists! It's essentially an international collective of people have one or more of these in common;
1) Were at same stage part of the British Empire,
2) Still have Queen Elizabeth II as head-of-state,
and
3) Understand the inherent humour of irony and/or sarcasm.

The last one I believe to be the major reasons America left the Empire. Bugger this "No taxation without representation" business; they just didn't get the jokes!
