OKC, OK Fan Force Chapter

Why don't we have a fan force chapter here?
We have a collector's club here that has meetings and chats and everything, so we should have a FF chapter for everyone, even those who don't collect but still love SW.
Tulsa is already working on starting one up, so I think we should too, seeing as how we are the capital of Oklahoma and all.
Just a thought.

Hey X-wing, is there Jedi OKC chats anytime besides tuesdays? I always have to work on tuesdays, and I was wondering if there was any other time that there is a good amount of people there chatting.

 

not yet as tuesdays are the only one for now but we can always have a special chat on a nother day sometime i'll let you know soon

 

Yeah X, I've thought about that as well. We could merge the Collector's Club and the group here and create a FanForce group. Whatever you think though, X, it's all up to you.

 

Yeah, we could do that, that would be cool, but its not up to me.

it is not up to me alone so i will bring it up at the meetings and see what people think and i will try to get it done as soon as possable

 

The idea sounds good to me, but I am only one. I want to get an icon and name for our city here. It appears that once you reach 100 topics these two are given. So try to post new topics over any ol' thing and let's have a fan force here.

I would really like to see this happen, I know there are many SW fans here in the OKC area, and it would be great to get together with all of them.

I think the best way to get the word out about the Fan Force would be: Whenever one of us goes to see the movie, strike up a conversation with someone in line or just in the area. Then gradually start telling them about here and Jedi Okc, this way people won't think we're all freakish and just blow us off.

Indeed, I will try my best to be friendly to my fellow SW fans when I see the movie, and see if I can spread the word about the JC forum and Jedi OKC if they are fellow collectors as well.

i have started the ball rolling on this so i willl let you all know as soon as i get soom info back

 

looks to be coming to be as we now need to decide who the rep should be ,i can do it if there is no one else that wants the job

I think you already have "joined" my man. Its not really any official kind of membership or anything I believe.

I also throw my hat into the ring for city rep. I am on here quite a lot.
