I would just like to clarify, by the way, that all this only means that we now have a Philippines forum. But this does not mean that Fanforce Philippines has been officially recognized. We still have to go through those 3 activities, and ask to be recognized.

so, shouldn't we start populating the boards with threads? Ginny, what are the house rules? is this strictly a talk-about-SW only place or we can talk about anything under the sun?

Next target is getting a proper Rep, Secretary etc and getting that 3 Fan Activities which I think must be reported here or at the FanForce Page in order to be recognized as a FanForce Chapter?

 

Okay, how about these for the three required activites:

1. The very first Philippine FanForce EB
2. Philippine FanForce AOTC Movie Screening
3. Philippine FanForce Mini-Convention

We can also arrange another SW marathon screening at BYC. All we need for that's a set date.

 

we can do #s 1 and 2 on the Saturday EB alone. will that count as one activity only if we do it on the same day?

yeah-number 1 and 2 should be no easy task...especially number 3 for me.
i only wish that i could be there (where most of you are ) when you have your conventions and screenings cos I'm sure it would be so much fun!
i'm visiting the Philippines June of 2003. maybe i can hook up with some of you and you can maybe give me a tour? hee hee...

But we can't come up with a domain name if we havent named ourselves yet.


I had the template for our site uploaded to the yahoogroups files. I believe some of you guys have seen it already. But things are bound to change once we:

1. come up with our offical name
2. come up with content discussions
3. come up with a logo as a result of these

After which it will be easy for me to redesign the site template. And of course, the domain name.

 

I already have a couple of logos in mind for the "Philpatine FanForce" and "Philippine Imperial Senate" proposed names of our group.

And I agree with StompboXX, we need a name first before we can come up with the logo.

And we need to come up with the requird three activities first, people!

 

I've posted this in the e-group but, I'll repeat it:

*** This board is for any and all talk regarding FANFORCE only. And some other issues you may want to talk about. Although posting EVERYTHING here will reduce the amount of w-mail you guys may get, it will not help those people who rely purely on e-mail to get in touch with the group. So again, Fanforce issues belong on this forum, but of course they will be discussed at SWP. Other issues may be tackled here, but for long discussions, please head on over back to SWP.

*** As for the 3 activities, I have no idea if 2 activities in one day count.

*** Post your Fanforce chapter name suggestions at the other thread that Stomp created. We'll vote on a name soon, probably by the time we get around to the EB. The EB will be the deadline, so, please, think and put them up FAST!
