    Fellow German alarm! :D [:D]
*jumps at Lord_Anjok and strangles him with [:D] s*

All of your pics look excellent. Dooku seems to be a bit tired, but nice shading on all of them. Did you use watercolors?

The last one is creepy. What exactly is it? *hides behind monitor*

If you should need any help here at Fanarts or the board in general, just tell me. Oh, and if you need translations, just ask. :)

Welcome and I'd like to see more of your work! =D=

Greetings, Lord Anjok, and welcome to the Fan Art forum! I wouldn't worry too much about your English--we have members in our forum from all over the world, and everyone seems to get along fine (besides--art is a kind of universal language, yes? ;) )!

Your watercolor/acrylic pieces are wonderful! I love the burnt-orange background color you chose for both of them--very good for setting off the subjects. The detailing on Dooku is wonderful, and I love the pose of your trooper. The Plo Koon-in-progress is amazing--terrific detail so far, and great contrasts and shading, too. Can't wait to see this one done (I'm a "pencil-jockey" myself, so am particularly drawn to this type of work!)! Very nice start to your gallery, and we're glad you chose to share them here! Looking forward to more--and, along with Chilla, I bid you welcome!

    Thank you for answering

@Chilla: The last one is Plo Koon as FalconFan said (the best jedi ever ^^)
And yes I did use watercolors ( also Aquarellfarben nicht Wasserfarben ).

@FalconFan: I don't know when I'm going to finish the Plo Koon one, becaus I am doing some more projects at the moment.

    Next pictures:
I still have 2 more pictures like the watercolor ones, but I can't find them at the moment (PLo Koon and a geonosian warrior)
I'm also working on a 100x50 cm big oil painting of palpatines office.Like this: http://www.cswu.cz/kostymy/palpatine/img/e2/18.jpg
I'm gona post it if i could get a good camera.

First of all, welcome to the craziness that is Fan Art, Lord_Anjok!

You're pieces are quite amazing! I love the graphic feel they all exhibit and the watercolor technique is a nice way to flesh that out. The clonetrooper really jumps out at me the way you tinted his armor orange to show the effect of the background. There's also a lot of nice things going on in there regarding the details. Nice job!

And I can't wait to see the oil painting you're working on. It sounds really interesting! :)

So, I think its time to reanimate this thread.

    Here are two more pics:

    1. Is an geonosian warrior painted with watercolour.
    2. Is Gollum colored in PS.(it´s not star wars but I think this is ok)

Ooo--the Gollum pic is wonderful (and yes: as long as you have SW work in your thread, it's okay to include the occasional non-SW piece! ;)--I couldn't get the Geonosian painting to load for me, but will try again later to look at it...)! Excellent detail and very nice color blending. A good portrait of that strange creature! I'm wondering how the painting of Palpatine's office is coming--any progress on that...?

Very nicely done, Lord_Anjok! Vader really looks amazing. What kind of media did you use to achieve that effect?

Its made with watercolour as the other pictures too.
But I used less water, so that the colores are stronger than normal watercolour.

So here is palpatines office. My first Oil painting at all.
Its not finished yet. I have to put some shadows behind palpatine and anakin and I don't really like the two heads of them, maybe i overpaint them.

So here is the first picture of a new spate of starwars-pictures I want to paint.
It is made on a 12x15 cm aquarellpaper.

    Commander Cody:

    Absolutely stunning work!

The Palpatine/Anakin skyline is so beautifully realistic. It takes me back to those spring afternoons I spent running around the playground.

Oh, I'm dumbstruck by the painting of Palpatine's office!! =D==D= I don't think you need to change the face/heads--there's so much detailing here, and with the unmistakable location no one is going to have any trouble at all identifying these two characters. The skyline is almost photographic, it's so well done...how in the world did you accomplish this with oils?! =D= I think my only tiny critique might be that the two figures need to be casting a bit more of a shadow across the floor: with them standing so close to that expansive window, the light would be streaming in, however subdued, and would send their shadows away from that light source, across the floor. Matching those shadows to the way you've done the chair and desk would work perfectly--just a bit more of a shadow for each of them, particularly at the hem of the robes, would anchor the figures a bit more. Even without that, though--this is an awesome painting, and I'm stunned that this is your first attempt at oils--the result here looks like you've been doing it for years! Commander Cody looks absolutely awesome: I love the sort of "roughened" look to him here--it very much fits with what a clone's life would be: rather rough and very regimented, as would be true for any lifetime soldier... Wonderful, wonderful work! =D=
