The 501st/Rebel Legion and Mando Mercs will be trooping this. All are welcome to come out.

 

OK, for those who are going just for the movie it will be at 7pm. Characters will be there as of 6:15pm. I'd offer to carpool but my car is full.

 

So THAT'S where everyone was... My wife and I caught the 4pm showing and we were the only two people in the entire theater!

Movie was OK, will certainly purchase on Blu-ray.

 

Ok, so how come there has been no review of Fanboys? Was it worth the wait?

Sorry, I've been uber busy.

Now that I've had time to savor the memory of the movie I am so happy to have seen it. I could have seen it again this weekend in Asheville (it opened there . . . yup, go figure.) but I had to take my daughter to see the Jonos Bros. movie.

When I first saw I seethed at how long Weinstein made us wait for this movie. There was no reason for it. Some of the edits cinematic wise were hard and that always gets me. But this is a funny movie and the cancer plot isn't overwhelmingly sad or a bummer. The humor of the movie overrides it. The war between Star Trek and Star Wars is hysterical.

If this comes to Charlotte I will see it again.
