I don't know how solid this is, but I read a release date of September 19th for Fanboys

if it is true, we can see it after the meeting on Sat., Sept.20th. Wow, what a fun afternoon/evening that would be.

 

Maybe we can get some kind of HRR thing set up for this Fanboy movie if possible.

Personally, i'm not getting dressed up for this thing.

I've already committed to trooping at Thad's gig earlier that day, Saturday, at Game-on for Force Unleashed that he posted on the GT's boards sometime ago.

If FanBoys shows, i'm just seeing the movie, hopefully with a belly full of 5 Guys burger & fries!

 

I've been hearing Sept. 19 is a limited release?

I'll be talking to our friend, Jim Carroll, over at Military Circle to see if the movie might play there!

If Fanboys plays at the Gallery of Military Circle, our friend Jim says he'll try his best to get us in there. No promises. If necessary, some of us will dress up to help the group get in for free, possibly. It's entirely up to management as to whether they give us free passes.

Either way, let's shoot for a mid-afternoon showing on February 7 (Saturday) to attend. Non-canon is most welcome if you plan on dressing up, but in the end, it's entirely up to you.

Personally, I don't really care if I spend a few bucks to see the movie, but for the fun factor, I'll do what I can to assist the group.

I think there was a question raised at the meeting about the type of costume to wear at FanBoys if one wished to dress up.

This is perfectly acceptable IMHO!

Looks like FanBoys is not going to happen in our area. Only select cities will see it for Feb 6 weekend.

To those of you lucky enough to be in the cities or close enough to drive to see the movie do the rest of us a favor and sell out every show. The rest of us want to see it on the big screen and not rent it!!
