I am a real life colleague of Jocasta Nu and work in the archives at the townhall of Teylingen (a village in the Netherlands) I have been a volunteer firefighter for over 20 years and have retired from that job in 2013. I did enjoy that very much and I like my work

Signing up on these boards and posting my fanart I discovered that AzureAngel2 was living in Eindhoven. (the Netherlands) We contacted with PM's and I viisted her for the first time in Eindhoven. I helped her to move to Deventer when she got a new job there and visited her often.

 

And in summer 2013 I moved back to Germany, started living in Berlin and returning to my roots: nursery-school teaching. But now and then I miss meeting earlybird-obi-wan in person. I hope she will remember that she has another friend in Berlin and HAS to visit eventually.

I have no original fiction yet, loving to write SW and Trek. In the Star Wars universe almost everything is possible and that's why I like to write about it so much.

 

Who are your favorite SW couple and why? And for Trek, also? Woohoo!

 

Favorite Star Wars planet/location?

 

My favorite SW couple are Obi-Wan and Siri. They are true to the Jedi code but are in love. And Trek? McCoy and Spock and Uhura. McCoy should get more screen time

I am Dutch and live in the Netherlands in Warmond. That's a part of the town of Teylingen and quite near the coast and some other towns like Leiden and Noordwijk (President Obama stayed there during the Nuclear summit) In spring we have a lot of flowers (tulips and more bulbs) The Keukenhof is near and in Warmond we have large lakes for sailing

Joghurt plain or with fresh fruit

In winter cabbage in various form is nice. And due to my father's stay in Indonesia (militairy for 2 years) I love chinese and Indonesian food

All kinds from classic to house.
But among my favorite are Dire Straits, Bruce Springsteen and all kinds of soundtracks

 

Family-centric question: Do your folks and brother live close by and do you see them often?

 

My brother and his family live in Beverwijk and that's about 50K from my home. I don't see him that often because he is very busy. My mom lives in Wormerveer and that's 55K distance. I see her more often

 

Do you write and/or post your fanfiction in Dutch or German, too? I admire your initiative and ability to write in a second language, something that I have never attempted.

Do you write every day, or on a schedule?

 

Apologies for the delay all. I choose Sundays because when I have to work every other Sunday, they tend to be the most chill day and I can hop on here a little bit at least. Yesterday, that was not the case. I didn't stop all day, and in fact I was there over an hour after my shift ended and being that it was the third really rough day in a row I came home and crashed.
Anyway, this is not about me.

I write almost every day a little bit and only the English language. German isn't mastered by me and in Dutch some SW words are quite hilarious
