[Fanfic] The Random Story (AU, X-over)

Daxter: Where are we?

Banjo: It appears to be a room of some sort.

Kazooie: Of course it?s a room! *pecks Banjo on the head*

Naruto and Sasukearguing over whose fault it is*

Pikachu: Pika pi?..

Inuyasha: Shut up rodent.

Pikachu: *uses Thunderbolt on Inuyasha*

Inuyashafalls over*

Jak: What have we gotten ourselves into?.

Obi-Wan: I?m sure there?s a way out of here.

Anakin: I miss Padmé.

Obi-Wan: What was that?

Anakin: Nothing Master. *gets hit in to head*

Naruto: Sorry!

Sasuke: Watch where you punch, idiot.

*Naruto and Sasuke go back to fighting*

Torn: *has fallen asleep*

Daxter: Hey! What are we gonna do?

*An owl flies by saying things*

The Owl: The answer is in the pudding. *leaves*

Daxter: What pudding?

*pudding falls on top of Daxter*

Daxter: Oh, that pudding?.*sigh*

Inuyasha: Find anything in there?

Pikachu: Pikachu!?

Daxter: Just this sock.

Sock: I am the sock of JMA, and I can return you home. *turns into a Tamaskan puppy*

Anakin: A dog?

Obi-Wan: That can transform apparently.

Inuyasha: It?s a demon!

Tamaskan Puppy: I am not a demon. I am a Tamaskan puppy with magical powers!

Jak: So how are you going to get us home?

Tamaskan Puppy: Easy, but first you have to run around in circles, scream like spider monkeys and dance randomly.

*everybody does this*

Tamaskan Puppy: *barks and everybody disappears back to whence they came* Well my work here is done. *disappears from existence*

 

I don't know half the people appearing.
*zaps Pikachu*

You don't know Banjo or Kazooie. That game's so old I figured everyone who was around during the nintendo 64 time would've at least heard of it before...

We neveer had a Nintendo.
The first comp in my life was an IBM PS1, and we only very few games for it, too.

Aww I'm sorry Lanna.

I'm not a huge fan of Banjo & Kazooie or Banjo Twooie but I never met someone who never heard of them before. I geuss now I have.

I am in Germany. A lot of pop culture referrences don't work.
Would be like expecting people ehre to know about Little Witch/ Little Ghost/<insert random German classic kids book>

Anyway, now I get why talk is discouraged in the story baords

 

I do too Lanna. It deters from the story. Though once me and someone else had conversations between updates of someone story and they integrated our conversation into the story.

 

It would seem to me that if you;re going to cross over the origins of the characters should be somewhat relevant. This plot makes no sense, the characters are all ciphers with famous names and blatant one line references and as a result the humour falls flat. One senses it was written in a hurry. Suggest taking the concept and reworking, perhaps with less of a giant cast shoehorned in for no discernible reason.

However, the script could be of interest as an absurdist exploration of the tendency of fiction writers to create explosions of characters with no justifiable reason for their interaction or existence. Upon creating such a work logic immediately disappears- perhaps the disappartion of the puppy is commentary on this point. Given the uninspiring buildup, has one doubts.

Final Grade: D. Has potential, but extremely unpolished in many facets.

 

I saw that coming. Funny though, I can't be offended by a bashing that made me laugh.

 

Wish I got comments like that. So many complicated words, you don't get the content for the lot of them.

The whole point right there. ^ Plot that makes no sense, characters there for no reason. Hence why it is called The Random Story. Sao instead of bashing it, I guess you just gave the whole reason why I succeeded.

No Logic is usually my brother forté, but I decided to give it a shot.

 

That was certainly not a bashing...now if one of my fellow JCCers decide to 'review' your story, you can expect one.

Anyways...'Random Story' suggests the existence of a 'story'.

 

The 'story' is of the characters being locked in a room and getting saved by a puppy in a very illogical way. I've read too many of my brother's stpries....they rarely ever follow logic...

 

I would continue discussing this with you but I've already lost 3 friends from fanfic association. I don't want my parents to disown me as well.

 

I'm sorry. Some people just don't appreciate good fanfiction, not that this story was good persay.
