woohoo! Its good to be back! Well, i have to say this, azmi is a natural at dueling. first day in training and he already created many cool moves. Heal up my friend, master dice and i will handle things. haha get it? HAND-le things. just joking!!

I have some mini movies at my site www.blogmonk.com (look under the topic heading on the right, "saberknights"). I live in a tiny flat, so not much room to use the EL saber effectively. I use a 24 to 26-inch EL blade, which is shorter than most Parks saber EL blades (40 inch typically). So I use the saber like a ninja sword. The 2 custom EL sabers I have (the 3rd one is with my younger brother) are slim, 1.25-inch diameter, so easier for Asian hands.

Do catch some of my short movie clips. Will post more soon. I humbly concede I am no Kendo or other sword use expert like most of you, so be patient and kind please. Just an old man toying with the EL.

hi brethren and fellow Jedis
My own humble fan film should be ready to be shot in late November to early December. Booked a bluescreen studio already, and most props are also ready (save one Maul-like saber and another saber).

I wonder, if you guys know of a young lady (20s perhaps) who might want to play the female lead? Preferably already a SW costumer so that we don't have to spend on her costume. She can be a Jedi, padawan, or anyone. The storyline is about 2 Jedi monks in a remote outpost, who are seeking enlightenment.

Can anyone tell me, preferably by posting a QuickTime movie or something for me to view, on how you "twirl" the lightsaber? I hope to incorporate it as a theatrical combat move in my upcoming fan film.
