I know there WAS a thread started for this topic some time back....but I'll be darn if I can find it. But......We have not discussed the possibility of a FanFilm in a while. Is anyone still interested. I'm willing to help with the writing process.
(I also was a pretty darn good film editor in college too, if anybody has the equipment.)

One of the issues I think that limits us is costumes. Does anyone have an affordable way to make Jedi robes? Or already has some?

 

I have a Authentic Looking Jedi Knight Outfit someone is welcome to borrow. It's looks Like Obi-Wan's from TPM. Let me know

 

I'm definitly interested too. I'd love to help out any way I can. I have some editing software like premire 6.0, poser, bryce 3D, photoshop 6.0 and some others. I would love to put together a space battle, but with my limited knowledge of these programs I got, I might need some help.

 

Dear Members:
I'm interested too. I have an outfit made by me of a Jedi Knight. It's inpire by Luke Skywalker's outfit in ROTJ. But the cape is grey. I'll be more the glad and willing to participate in the film by: helping build the drama and writing part of it (I have some very good scenes from my personal book which we can look into), helping with the outfit ideas, and even participate as a Jedi Knight (even for a some seconds).

I'll be more than gald to share INFO or ideas.

Wow, I'm glad everyone is interested. My friend and I actually made up a small plot that involved bounty hunters, sith, and some things that have never been seen in a Star Wars movie.

 

Dear Mogook:
Let's talk. Maybe we can interlace our ideas and come with a very good plot. I also have ideas never seen before in the SWU. What do you say?

Alright, should we all discuss the movie here? Or should I somehow set up a different forum somewhere else? Discussing it here would be easier and it would let other members chime in easier.

 

We could throw together ideas and such here. It would also be easier to compile everything and print em out to bring to the next meeting so we can all collaborate there as well.

Well, let's see, we have a very limited amount of Jedi costumes. So, the movie has to focus on only two it looks like.

My idea was they were escorting some ambassador, and bounty hunters were after him/her. The ship they were was attacked. One padawan was sent down to a planet with the ambassador. The other two Jedi stayed on the ship to fight. Then later, the two Jedi join the padawan and the ambassador. Then bounty hunters and a Sith Lord come after the ambassador. And of course, there's some fighting.

 

I'll be glad to provide my Jedi costume too,
and to be a Padawan or JK. I can bring my lightsabers and used them to practice swordfight... any Sith takers?

I was thinking of being a Sith.

I have a lightsaber made, the handle is made out of spare parts and other failed lightsaber attempts. It has a pretty cool feature that others don't.

I will be leaving shortly, but for tomorrow I will bring an outline of a scene fight against a Padawan and an Apprentice. For a little spoiler:
its raining, low light, mud, and non-stop action. You'll love it.

BTW, Mogook, yours is a complete piece or joint together?

 

What I posted was the idea I thought of. But we should work together to get the best plot and the most feasible. All our ideas should be put together.

I could go along with my Garm Krillion character. Pirate/A-Wing pilot/wise-guy. Maybe a group from the Rogue Mutineers to help these Jedi out - For a price that is!

 

Fipe, posting your thoughts public would probably be best so everyone involved can respond.

DRK_HLMT, all ideas are options right now. I think a character like that would be fun to write and would offer a Han element to the movie.

 

I brought my sewing machine to shop class, today, with the intent of making you guys some costumes for the movie. But they said they cannot machine the part I need, but I think I can jerry rig a part to make it work again. I am into making costumes. Can we hold a world premier of this movie in the fall in the planetarium?

 

I don't think the film will be done by fall.

 

Damn, I've wanted to do this FOREVER! Never had access to the equipment tho. You had better believe i am all kinds of down for this!!! I have a year of make-up experience (then some if you count the few years that i would randomly make up my little bro to be some movie...thing). I have a good sense of design when it comes to improvising crap for costumes...& of course, I'd love to act!! Blame the many years of RP, lol! So definately count me in...Jedi, Sith, Aing Tii, Jensaarai, Hunter, Imperial, whatever! I'm flexible

 

Cool Beans! We gotta have some sort of politcal intreage though. I have a really neat character I created for my book (Resurgence of Evil), Enita P'lape. I would be happy to donate her. She's a GREAT politacal character who would make a terrific foil for our hero's. Also, what era should all this happen in. I think post NJE would be terriffic. Let me know your thoughts.

Edit: I just had a teriffic idea.....If Isbeth would be kind enough.....Wouldn't the Planetarium make a GREAT senate or council hall.?

 

Yeah, we're gonna have to have some discussions on the era for it.

And sithspawn, I like the idea of having some political thing. That way we can cut to different plots like the other SW movies do. The problem is setting up locations. Like where would the political stuff take place?

 

Magook, Check out my edit to my previous post. Also, we need a kick-butt action sequence. On that, I have a hard time with.
I'm more into drama films rather than action.
Any ideas folks?

 

Hey, that could work. Before we make Isbeth risk her job by asking, maybe we should check the location out first. Or maybe Isbeth could give us the lowdown before we get our hopes up. But it does sound like a great idea. Nice thinking.
