Yub I am not the greatest, and thats why i am not diving into things head on in the industry yet. But I do know how to do somethings.

And I am a huge Film buff so I know of some tricks and stuff too.

If you need something just ask and I will see what I can do.

P.S. I suck at lighting so don't even get my started there.

 

What about access to proffessional grade equiptment. I am gonna chat with Fanshawe about this too

Lighting, I understand to a degree, thanks to the photography class we had. And cheap as well

Also I want to look into aluminum saber blades...apparently they are really good....hmmm.

Theres also the thought of using UWO for scenes, maybe the powers that be there will allow us too

FYI, I spoke to my brother today who has been working on the saber with my dad as home. He says it's going pretty well, but slow, and that we can use it for the fanfilm if we need it.

 

Prim, I will hopefully be coming for th Imax event with some other YJN members so we can discuss things then if you wish. I also have access to excellent non linear editing facilities, though only until next may.

That "hallway" in my earlier post is at UWO. I spoke to the person in charge of that building, and he said since some of us are students, w can do anything we want there, as long as it doesn't disrupt the staff, or the classes. Basically that means we'd have to shoot in the evening, or in the EARLY morning, before 8:00am.

 

When is shooting planned to start? I realize it's tough to pinpoint but are you planning to shoot in weeks, months, years?

Non Linear is a computer based system that prevents you from having to hook up two VCRs and through everything together. Actually some of the equipment is similar to stuff used by Lucasfilm. YAY AVID!!! YAY FINAL CUT PRO!!
