Well, i'm pretty much interested in all aspects of Star Wars, and have been since my uncle let me borrow a VHS of A New Hope taped off the BBC when I was three, which I only gave back a few years ago. My best Star Wars moment was the opening day to Revenge of the Sith, I was the only one there in costume and saw the movie twice in a row. I also play guitar in a band called Tied Up, which is where the stage name, Ritzii Rip, comes in. If you have Myspace, feel free to add me.

Best time to be in Manchester Looks like we have enough members in just Manchester itself to have quite a few meets there, including the cinema ones. And I can travel up being an hour away on the train.

And November we have the big FF-UK North meet at the Manchester Collectormania G-Mex convention.

Technically though I was chatting with Edgejedi at LFCC and prior to the GMEX last year.


So...like a great many folks round here I'm a child of the mid 70's and as such have an in built genetic code to love Star Wars. My first real Star Wars memory is queueing on a rainy Sunday night at the Manchester Odeon to see Empire with my dad on it's first UK release but I'm sure that I must have seen the earlier 1979 re-release of Star Wars because I knew who everyone was.

My favourite SW memory was keeping myself completely spoiler free for TPM and the sheer excitement as the lights dimmed (of course - I won't mention what I though afterwards...).

I do have a set of Jedi Robes but have not (as yet) worn them outside of a Fancy Dress party.

If you want to meet up for a beer and a chat about most TV/Film stuff I'm always up for that and I do intend to post more on this forum.

I'm also a film-maker and would LOVE the chance to work on a decent SW FanFilm at some point (got a few ideas myself but you know how it is...)
