Calgary FanForce Code of Conduct

With the Big Expo coming up, and Con-version only 108 days away, I thought it wise to post regarding our Code of Conduct.

We are still drafting an official charter. That being said, the following rules apply to all FanForce members:

We are ambassadors.

All rules follow from this main point.

• While in the public spotlight, we must never disparage the good name of Star Wars, fellow fans, or of Fandom in general.


• Members must be respectful of others, regardless of their race, gender, age, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, or Fandom affiliation.


• A member?s behaviour at public events reflects on the group as a whole. As such, behaviour unbecoming a member can result in sanctions or dismissal from the group depending on the severity, at the discretion of the Council.

Everybody already knows how to act at these events, but it only takes one slip of the tongue to ruin it for everyone, and then we don?t get invited back.
