I was there (Mallorca) and it was great!
Ok, I was there with my university and we did much sports, but we also have seen a bit of the island.
There are really nice places and the "Tour Torrent de Pareis" was a really cool adventure!

Personally I hate Mallorca, way too many tourists around.

Maybe we should note which cities in Europe have an active FF around, after all then it's a lot easier to organise things.

For Sweden I would say Stockholm or Gothenburg, if you don't want to come to Falun. I also think that maybe Sweden would be a better choice for 2005.

It depends on the time you are there. I was there in February and it was warm and beside of us no or at least only a few tourists!

Well, at least it will be easier to order something there, as many people will be able to understand english and/or german because of all the tourists.

Do you have another idea, Johanna? ?

I like the idea of going to the south in 2004, and to the north in 2005.

//edit: I'm afraid we'll have to go in summer, when most tourists are there, Sabine. We won't find a date where everyone can attend otherwise...

yeah I know for a fact the only holidays I have from uni are going to be the week before xmas until begining of Jan, most of April then the summer

If we plan it early enough, I think it will be possible.
But then (in summer) we have the problem with many tourists. That's also why we have to book everything early.

But perhaps the spanish people could help us... ?

Mallorca should be easy enough, to organise.

Though would need to decide where on the island people would like to go and whether the price is do able, which it should be.

I would prefer the east or north-east. Although Palma de Mallorca is in the south-west.

hmmm Guess nobody is interested in Portugal / Lisbon..
Not a expensive country when compared to other european countries, lot's of sun, and beaches, lots of monuments and nice places to visit.
