Now the site works very well. :D And it looks quite good. Good work, Nina! :)

And about the date, as I said before I would really like to come and there are only two things that can prohibit it. First if I find a job and can't take holidays in the first six months (ok, then I should be able to come at least for the weekend :) ) and the other thing is my brothers birthday on the 20th of August. :)

Hope it helps in any way. :)

I went into a travel agents today, and the average prices for the hotels next year is about £323, ?400 ish for 3 days, with an extra £28 per night (?40).

I haven't found any flight info yet though.

    (The Euro translations are estimates)

If you want cheap accommodation you should check out STF, part of hostelling international.

Prices range from 160 SEK (aprox. ?16) to 320 SEK (aprox. ?32) for non-members for each night. Having stayed at STF hostels I can say they are very simple but quite good if you just want a nice, clean place to stay.

You can also find hostels in Stockholm by using Hihostels.com.

I was mainly looking at this cool one, that I can't remember the name of. It was N____ Sea. Although not North. It has an Ice Bar, an entire bar made out of ice.

    That looks way cool, Nina!

I guess I'll be able to make it - Stockholm is not that far away after all ;)

Nina, could you put something on the site about laws and stuff, such as drinking age and that?

    It'd help me plan easier.

Sure... not really sure what laws though... anything special you're thinking of? :)

Legal drinking age in Sweden is 18, but you can't buy alcohol until you're 20. That is, you can buy alcohol at restaurants and stuff when you're 18, but you can't buy at Systembolaget, which is the store where you buy alcohol. We have a state monopoly in Sweden. Alcohol is also really expensive here.

Bugger. There goes my plan of being a beliegerent drunk throughout the trip.

I was thinking of laws that would directly affect tourists, for example:

The laws of Exposure, seeing as there's going to be at least one person who gets that drunk (There always is). Like, how long would they be kept in a cell for?

No idea. Let's hope it won't come to that...

Also, this being a FanForce meeting, we won't allow underage people drinking. We can have great fun without alcohol... and we will! :)

    Dammit!

    Never mind. Minibar.

    lol j/k.

Well, any laws that you think might be important, like an info pack.

Okay, since most people could do it in August, I hereby declare the meeting to be in the first week of August, and lasting for 5 days. (Although it is of course perfectly okay to just show up a few of the days).

Soooo... what do you want to do during the meeting? Anything special? So far we haven't planned very much more than what's on the webpage, which is that we will have one day getting to know each other, and we will go and see Ep3. :)

But if there is anything special you'd really like to do in Stockholm or it's surroundings... tell us! :)

ARGH... well, as it seems I'm going to be at a field trip the first two weeks of august...
Something I didn't plan but I have to attend that one...

And the really sad thing is that I'm going to be not far away from you because the trip is to finnland and norway... :_|

Nina, give us a little background to work with!

Anyway, first week of august should be good, although I'm still looking into the prices. I've got £200 at the moment, although I need lots more for spending and stuff.

Awwwww Jule... :( Can't you escape the field trip and hop over to Sweden for a little while? ;)

I can write a small background if you wish, Cobra, but it'll have to wait til next week... I'm hosting an FF meeting tomorrow and then I have an exam in a week... damned uni. :p

    No, I've got £200.

I need more though. The hotels going to be about £290 for 3 nights, and another £85 per extra night.

Flights, the best I've seen for them is £34 plus tax.

By 0,99 , do you mean 99p, then price of a bottle of coke?
