FanForce Europe Meeting 2006!!

To reply in a more properly sophisticated way than you'd probably imagine beforehand, I am much alike a meeting in ways that exceed the more ... primerial exclamation I made earlier. Let me explain please... on the most basic level of existence I feel a lot like people piled together in a rather smallish room, smelling like a certain sluggish underworld lord, I need not to name...
On a higher level of existence I couldn't find a proper answer that can be translated to the common tongues of men, so i think, "[exclamation] me like meeting. Me like meeting [exclatmation]" covers the subject sufficiently. Any other questions?

Me like meeting too, Pepijn. I mean that I like meetings, not that I AM a meeting of any sorts
I don't think many of these [Dr Evil]crazy Dutch bastards[/Dr Evil] will be going to a FF meeting, but maybe it's time we'd arrange another one for ourselves. Sorry if I just hijacked your thread, gaiatha

I have news for you
Finally the members of the European FanForce have decided for us which city will be our candidate as host for the European FanForce Meeting 2006:
It's our capital BERLIN!

The German FanForce is working on our final candidacy at the moment.
So feel free to check the Meeting Planning thread from time to time. And please feel invited to share your thoughts and ideas with us

The Spanish FanForce announced to have their candidacy ready in about three weeks.
Another reason to check the thread mentioned above

To find out which date would be best to held the meeting for the majority of the poeple chimealheltei from der GSFF created some kind of poll.
We would like you who are interessed to attend the meeting to insert their favorite dates

We send all the worst cases to this remote place called Meppel, tho.

 

Actually, the worse cases come from the west, and then they come here to breathe some fresh air, and dirty up our landscape.

 

Dirtying up the landscape is basically all I do, damnit. It's my God-given right.

Besides, if you just continue to go west, you'll end up in Meppel again so you're correct, from a certain point of view.

There are a few news on the FanForce Europe Meeting

First I'm sad to announce that the Spanish FanForce is no longer standing as candidate for meeting host.
It's not official yet but because there are no other candidates I guess Germany and Berlin will be the host.

The German FanForce (with special Thanks to chimealheltei) has created a website with the main information on Berlin and the meeting so far. You can find it here.
If you have any other questions or comments please visit the planning thread on the FanForce Europe Region General Discussions board.

We hope to announce a date for the meeting ASAP!

Firts of all, why should i go to that meeting, I'm not going to germany for a meeting unless... they have a BBQ for free. No, I'm not going... it's way to far, It's going to cost me a lot of money, and I'm slowly losing my SW interests now I'm groing older and since there are no more movies to look forward to, and school have burried me with home work for the next 3 months.... * sad but true

 

Why you should come to a meeting?
Well, to meet the people with the same interest and spent a fun time with them. Even if you haven't met all of the people attending the meeting on the boards before it's always ncie to meet new people.
I can only talk for myself but I've been never disapointed when I met new people from this board.

Good thing I postponed cheching my planner and filling in dates then ... hope Azure is able to come (when are the university exams again in Germany Jule?)

The website looks great, anyway; and I just finished a book about Berlin, so I'm curious to meet the place.
