FanForce Europe Meeting 2006!!

Hi there

Since 2003 it's become a nice tradition for the FanForces in Europe to meet in real life and spent some fun time together.
For this year two countries are putting together a candidacy as host for the Meeting:
Spain and Germany

So far Germany has decided on a list of cities we would like you decide on which city you would like to visit when the final vote will be on Germany.
Cities on the list are
Berlin
Hamburg
Rhein/Main (Mainz, Wiesbaden and Frankfurt)

Also a poll has been posted to decide on the final German candidate city: FF Europe Meeting 2006 "Choose your City you like to visit in Germany"
(Running till the end of the week)

I hope to have some more information on the spanish candidacy soon. I'll keep you posted

Heh, most of these lot ( ) are still bitter that Croatia was summarily kicked out of a candidate slot because it wasn't official yet

Sorry for croatia. But there are rules. Even I don't like some of these
But now Croatia is a official FanForce and if they still want to hold up there candidacy why not?!

Um, it's not official yet. They've had one meet, IIRC. The only reason they got their own forum was because there were quite a lot of them

 

Their own chapter still doesn't mean their official yet... that sounds rather stupid to me.

Well, I'd still say add your candidacy again!

I just hang out in these far out places, like here and BeNeLux

But I'm pretty sure Johanna said that it was only for Official Chapters, that is, ones with 3 meets completed and a Rep nominated, etc.

Well... Maybe next year then...
But all users from the slavic countries are warmly welcome to participate in the planning and add their thoughts and wishes.
And in the end attend the meeting

Yeah, i lkie that to... to be true, I've been only traveling through Gemrany not to even if I'm living next to this Country

 

I live 300 km away from Berlin, but I've never been to Germany... LOL at last I've got some motivation to learn German harder

 

So... there's two of us But I'm learning english still not german

 

O, I'd love to go to Gremany. It doesn't matter that Croatia didn't get the meeting, but I am sorry for that. Well that is our fault. We couldn't agree with thease meetings. Never mind, I hope we'll get a FF title next year.

 

I know, why not rebel and hold an unofficial FFE meet in Croatia, for those of us who can't afford to go to Germany

 

Cobra, you even couldn't afford going to Exeter! How could you aford going to Croatia, which is further than Germany?

I couldn't afford to go to Exeter because I was saving for Croatia. I'm going anyway, whether there is a meet or not.

Honestly.

I'd like to come to Germany. I've been there but only once. It would be very nice to attend a FF meeting. However, I'll be working with the archaeologists again this summer, so I couldn't go on a trip. Hopefully, next year.

 

And I thought you were going to come to Germany while our rebellious Cobra would come to Croatia... Unofficially, of course

 

Yeah, That'd be fun. If I go to Germany when Cobra comes to Croatia.
