Wenley, you've got to make a choice between your two banners. Which one will live and which will die...erm I mean won't be entered into the contest.

Fantastic banners everyone! Wow!

I hope it?s not too late to submit a banner? It?s still the 13th, so I?m assuming I can still contribute to this contest. I found out about this contest a little late, so my entry isn?t as well done as I might like. I seriously considered just not submitting it, but decided that since I had worked on it I might as well show everyone and enter the contest.

My FanForce Banner

Just to explain, the lines of text are ?May the Force be with you? in different languages (I think it?s self-explanatory, but just to be sure). There are some on the Post Reply image too. If there is a mistake in one of the phrases, please let me know. As far as I know they?re all correct, but I don?t speak most of them so...

Atomik, excellent work. I really like the colourisation and the fact that you didn't stick to one colour and went with two tones. My only critisism is the that cartoon clones don't work for me. That might just be personal preference, but to me they're sort of out of place.

Laura, great stuff. I especially like the post reply graphic. I'm not exactly sure what's distracting me when I see the banner though, but I think it might be the contrast between the pic of Anakin and the pic of Leia. Leia's bright, Annie isn't. BTW, love the idea behind the dot in "FanForce.Net".

So I guess the comp is closed now. Hopefully we'll see a winner soon. I guess the judges will have a hard time making their decision.

Thanks for the comments Amidala Starkiller and Ki-Bara-Mundi. I actually like the cartoon clones I feel they add a nice contrast to the overall feeling of the banner.

WE finally have a winner for the banner contest! The FanForce staff and I would like to congradulate Ki-Bara-Mundi! The winning design should be up and running within the next couple of days.

I just got back from a weekend at the Pittsburgh Comicon and need to get some sleep.
