well, I think I may have found out about this a little too late, but it's always worth a shot. You can see what I've done here

I've put together a few images quickly, mostly just through playing around with Photoshop. There were actually a few prototype designs that didn't make it in, but they all led up to pretty much what you see now. I really liked the paintbrush style strokes, so I played around with that for lettering, then I realised that I could make a pretty good logo by painting a black background and using a different colour for the logo. Yellow seemed to be the obvious choice. Anyway, I think you can see that I took a liking to that idea. I've gone for a few different variations.

If I can find some more time over the next two days I might be able to get something else done, but I think that may be all I can offer.

With that out of the way, I'm throwing my support behind Darth2's submissions. Both are really very good. I like the first one a little better myself, but that's just me.

 

Okay, I've never done any of this before...and I think I found out about it a little late too (I'm slow ) but here are my logos:

Well we're almost there, 3 days left

 

OK, so maybe making logos at 2:00 am isn't the best thing I could be doing, and I'll be the first to say that the results are interesting. Anyway, you can see what I've come up with here. I even put it in a new folder, just to really differentiate it from my previous 5.

Don't ask me what I was thinking, it was really very sporadic. I had this wacky idea of combining the Charlie's Angels logo with Fanforce, before remembering Golden Rule Number 3?. So, I started entirely from scratch. This was something new for me. I've got quite a bit of experience "photoshopping" existing pictures, chopping and changing different picture elements and whatnot, but I usually shy away from trying to make something out of nothing.

So, anyway, those black blobs are supposed to look like people. Well, at least one of them should. The one on the right could well be anything - like maybe even a Killer Robot from Planet X.

To be honest, I couldn't really think of anything much that conveyed "fans" without being too specific. Plus it took me all of fifteen, maybe twenty, minutes.

And who knows, at this rate, I may just be able to squeeze in one more before the end of the month.

 

Ok people, we're in the last stretch, the contest ends tonight @ midnight.

Good stuff from all who entered. My faves...

Pretty much all of Primrodo's designs. I'm tempted to say that the globe isn't that good, but that's only cause Australia isn't visible.

For some reason graphicfire's images won't load anymore, but I saw them before and he had some great designs, especially one that incorporates a star.

Out of all of Syrix's work, this one is the best. I can imagine seeing it on a white t-shirt.

Judging of the logo will soon begin, but as I'm sure you can understand, we always are busy in the OFH so this might take a little while before we come back to you with a result.
