What a weekend, man i'm tired and sore....
care to enlighten us?
Well it went something like this:
And those are the tame ones!
Yea, you should see some of mine... and the video's. There's one of me getting a tennis ball out of a chicks clevage with my teeth. Quality camera work on that video Solo! Love your work.
I'll upload a few pics soon.
Solo77 and SFL
Short shorts and tight pants were common amongst both genders.
Apt callsign was Flash for this lovely young lady.
The flight attendants love pilots with mostaches.
"She's too close for Missiles, switching to Guns!" was a common quote from the movie throughout the weekend.
What a weekend! Only 360-odd days till the next one!
Boo, too long!
This place doesn't get very far does it???
Well if you mean it doesn't get hundreds of posts everyday then you'd be right.
But of course this is a small country and now that the films are all over the amount of posts has certainly dropped off, only the regulars still post here........occasionally.
Better out than in I always say!
Yeah and like i always say, stop posting those self portraits
I normally post only on the Literature boards but thought I'd drop in and say "hi". I'm a Dunedinite if there are any others around.
Hey Dan, welcome to our humble abode What kind of Star Wars lit do you like? I'm into the comics, myself.
The novels are probably my main interest - NR and NJO eras - but I've started picking up some of the comics off tradeMe which has been cool.
Lurking in the Lit forum has made me interested in it all though, novels, comics, computer games, rpg sourcebooks. There is an "Obscure Reference" mindset there at the mo, which is cool.
I like comics too but I'm cheap so I rarely buy them.
And hi everyone.
Hey Winter! Are you still at Auckland U? I miss uni sometimes ...
Comics are pretty expensive in NZ ... it's sometimes cheaper to wait for the paperback collections. They're just starting some new series ... Rebellion, set during ANH-ESB and KOTOR set four thousand years before Anakin.
And this Legacy series set several generations after Luke. It caused a lot of controversy ...
The other day, I was walking through a disgusting reserve in west auckland (I'm currently running a rodent trapping programme for project twin streams for Waitakere City Council) and I was thinking "I actually miss learning". I then went out and bought a book on new zealand native plants and am starting to learn common and latin names for the flora and fauna I come across. I mean, I know a lot, but there's heaps of shrubs that I don't know of.
But yea, I miss the life too, the poorness, I do not.
Way to go geek
Eyrezer you're a dunnerz man. Great so am I.
Yep. Good old Dunedin. Slightly cold at the moment though - which is of course unusual
FMAO!!! - Freezing My Ass off!!!
Kitt, I'm still at uni unfortunately. Just one paper left though. And I just moved in to the city. Takes 10 minutes to walk to class which is pretty awesome. Not sure what I feel about the Legacy series, I laughed when I saw the designs for the new Skywalker, seriously I couldn't help it! But if it's any good I'll hae a look through it.
So who else is battling through the day after having breakfast at an irish bar and knocking back a few Guinness'? Just me? Well ok!
Well might knock off work and head downm to the Basin, sit on the bank and knock back a few brews in the sun while wtaching the TEST MATCH then head to town and get all Irish for the night!
