My mate, Callan, and I played a Pool Tournament last night in Ponsonby. Thought we'd have our pants around our feet the whole time I wore clean undies... what a waste of time that was. We cleaned up the round robin stage and won our pool/division "3 games won, 0 loss" and we played a couple of teams that were smokin'. I fluked a major black shot it tripled the length of the table and curved into the bottom right pocket - I appologised. lol

Did some pretty mint shots and got some compliments, made some complete duffs too

Got eliminated in the first round of the knock out competition though, but we went down 2-1 so we gave them a rnu for their money and in the 3rd game we had 1 ball on the table, so close game. We nevwer got trounced which was comforting

'El Bustanoodle' we entered as (see Stickmen if you don't know).

edit = $10 for 6 hours pool aint bad, even if we got trashed it's still cheap! Tables opened at 5:30pm, Games started 6:30pm. Basically at elast 2.5 hours of round robin, then knock-outs, but tables that were open were free during and after the comp, so we hung around till a mate finished his job at 10:30pm, then had a few quiets. Good Tuesday night

Thsi year i have already won two pool tournaments:

1. The Wellington yENZ (IPENZ young engineers) pool tournament (about 30 people)
2. MWH/Fulton Hogan/Transit NZ annual Wellington Pool Tournament (about 48 people)
