Pittsburgh, PA FanForce Pittsburgh Picnic

We've been putting this off long enough. I just got the go ahead form my parent to have it here at the house anytime we want. I'm shooting for an August 4th date, it's a sunday.

Another idea would be to have the July meeting here. I hve plenty of room for everyone to come.

Anyway back to the picnic. I think everyone should bring atleast one thing with them. Or at this months meeting we can get a list of everything we want and take a collection. I can go to the milatary base and get everything cheaper. If you want to suggest some ideas shoot. I have a volley ball net up and a horse shoe pit. There's also a park right down the block.

 

I'm game! Who else?

Everyone is welcome, if you want to bring your family just say so so we can make sure we have enough food.

Saber if you want to bring your family along it cool. Plus we still might have it at a park. I just want to get things planned out before the meeting this month.

The picnic is something totally different.

I say we have the meeting at Borders then drive over to chuck e cheese. I don't think we'd get much accomplished at C E C.

There is a new poll reguarding the location of the picnic on the website. The poll will close Saturday the 27th, the day before our July meeting. After the closing of the poll I'll announce the place of the picnic then.

 

Please make sure you vote on the poll on the website. I would like to have a vote from everyone that plans on coming, especially now becasue we have tie.

 

Not get much accomplished at Chuck E Cheese? Oh, I beg to differ... I could get a whole lot accomplished there

 

I havent been to Chuck E Cheese's in over ten years!!! I didnt even know there was one in Monroeville...(shows how much I know hehe). Do they still have those mechanical bears and such singing and dancing? lol.

 

Yes, they do. And they have music videos that star Chuck & friends while the robots are 'resting.'

Although for the record, I think North Park Club House Lounge is far superior to CEC. They have better prizes and you can get more with your tickets.

 

The Club House-that's not far from where I live.

And their lounge fries and fish sandwiches are to die for.

 

Yesterday (monday) I took my nephews and niece to the Club House. So much fun! After making them eat a semi healthy lunch ('you can only play games AFTER you eat your broccoli') we played all sorts of games, including TPM pinball!

Perhaps we should have a meeting there sometime . . . Its in Gibsonia (I think, at least its near there) Right near the turnpike (exit 4?)

 

Did someone say The Clubhouse? And Lounge fries? They are to die for! Good luck on your meeting folks.

 

The picnic will be on Sunday August 11th. It will take place at South Park. If you plan on attending the picninc please bring $5.00 to the meeting on July 28th becasue I will be buying our food in advance.

 

What time will the picnic be starting?

 

Noon, guess I should have said that huh. I'll be showing up a little eary to set up though. Tomorrow I'm calling the park to reserve a pavillion. Once I know what one I'll post it.
