FF:QLD Fanforce Support

Hey gang just writing to see how the support has been from the Fanforce Staff. If you think your chapter needs more support perhaps you should consider electing a City Rep or a second one to help the first. You can elect a member here and we can bring them up speed. This is all in an effort to better support you and your chapter. If you would like to volunteer in some other fashion please let us know.

What exactly would aforementioned City Rep or deputy have to do? Not being sarcastic or anything, I'm just curious to see what the role entails.

A CR is someone that is normally elected by all the members of their city/state. This person needs to be at least 18 years of age and can moderate their forum and work with their RSA. The CR is also responsible for address any concerns or questions of their city/state to the RSA as well as presenting, to their RSA, any info that needs to be posted on the main page concerning news and events.

In all fairness though I think Grielys you would make a good Rep. If you need help with a campaign or just a good reference give us a yell across the ditch.

Just a reminder, turkeys - it has always been tradition on these boards that moderatorshop and VIP-ship is not given to those who ask for it. Not sure whether Lightsabre cares about that or not. Doesn't really matter to me, though.

Isn't the "you can't blow your own trumpet" a JC admin thing??? FF reps should be people who are willing to accept responsibility.
But heck I'm from another board so my thoughts here don't count.
Just as long as the QLD board remains the same, heck I'm happy

 

First off there is no point voting for someone who doesn't want to be a Rep, so you ask people if they are prepared to put their hand up and say Yeah I'll do the job.

Those who would like to do it put their hand up. From there you have a vote. The fact that someone will become a Rep should make NO difference to the boards or how they are run. It just means you have a dedicated someone to look after certain things, whether it is the organisation of a meet or relaying information to others or to TF.N
