Hello South Region! The FanForce staff has some up with something that I'm sure some of you would enjoy.

The Official Star Wars Trivial Pursuit for FanForce!!

That's right! March 10, 2002 will mark the beginning of a new game that will be presented in the FFC (FanForce Community). The rules will be simple and will be posted in this thread and in the FFC. If you have any questions regarding the game, please feel free to post them in this thread

Tentative Rules: Teams will be used, not a free-for-all.
Winners: VIP-ship for the whole team for 3 days. Winning team posted on FanForce.Net and TFN.

The final rules and sign-up procedure will be listed soon, so stay tuned!

According to some of my people you all are in for a tough game. The Fandomenace has some serious trivia competitors. We will be there to win.

 

Sounds like this might get a lil' gruesome!

 

We have a member of our FanForce who has encyclopedic knowledge of all the EU and stuff. His name is CyberSith1. I am pretty good with the movie lore and Havenot1 is good with the comics spin-offs.

Well, JEDI-SOLO, VIP-ship basically means you get VIP status. The only real perk to being a VIP is that you get to change your username color. But, I think that's a pretty cool perk.

It sounds as if we might have some serious players from the South region participating. This will be fun!

 

Okay folks, here is more information about how this game is going to work.

• Teams will be made of three users, if your chapter has enough people, multiple teams can compete.


• The cut off time for sign ups is at 9pm board time on each thursday before the game starts. You can submit your team in the official thread in Fan Force Community.


• A max of ten teams will be taken per game.


• Each team will nominate a leader and that person would submit the answer each day.


• There will be a 24 hour time limit to answer each question.


• Answers must be submitted to the appropriate Mod by PM.


• Teams may discuss answers via PM but no discussion in the thread or your team gets disqualified.


• The team with the most points after one week moves on.


• Winners get VIP staus for 3 days.

I'm sure more details will be forthcoming. I'll post them when I receive them.

What happened to the Trivial Pursuit games?

 

good question. this is the first i've heard of it.

 

Rox, was running the game through the Spring until his college finals came into play. He'll be starting it up again real soon. Hang in there!

 

I graduate at the end of the month so things have been hell. But you can expect to see a thread for FFTP to return sometime this week, proably tuesday. There's going to be a new game next sunday.
