FanForce Trivial Pursuit: Battle of Yavin

Do you think you know everything there is to know about the Star Wars universe? How about your Expanded Universe knowledge? Well, now is the time for everyone to dig out their thinking caps because boy do we have a game for you. Without any further delay, may I present....

The Official Star Wars Trivial Pursuit for FanForce!!


Official Rules(that can change at any time)

Team Construction and Rules:
- Teams will be made of 3 users.
- Each team must submit it's team name and the city they are from.
- Each team must submit it's team captain and roster.
- Multiple teams from a chapter can compete.
- Each Team must represent a FanForce Chapter. Although you do not have to represent an Official chapter of FanForce you do need to represent a city forum.
- Each team will nominate a leader and that person would submit the answers.

Game Rules:
- The cut off time for sign ups is at 9pm board time on each Wednesday before the game starts.
- A maximum of 20 teams will be taken per game.
- If any team member other than the nominated leader submits your team answers you will be penalized 3 points.
- Teams may discuss answers via PM or other means but no discussion in the thread or your team gets disqualified.
- Answers must be submitted to the appropriate Mod by PM.
- A 24-hour time limit to answer the questions.
- The team with the most amount of points after 3 rounds wins.
- In the event of a tie the host will ask a tie breaker question and the first team to answer correctly wins.

Game Progression as follows:
- Sunday Night 7PM board time: Questions will be released; the number of questions will vary from week to week. There will be at least 10 questions per week.
- Monday Night 7PM board time: Deadline for Submission of answers.
- No awards will be handed out until the end of the contest.

Prize For Winners:
- Vip Colors. Winners will have to use a standard of white bold text, a blue background and a yellow border.
- A Custom Title so you don't have to touch your signature.


REGAURDING WINNERS: DO NOT ABUSE YOUR VIP POWERS. IF YOU ARE SEEN USING AN ADMIN/CR ICON OR STARTING THREADS IN THE CENSUS AREA, THERE WILL BE AN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION TO YOUR TEAM'S VIP STATUS AND YOUR TEAM WILL BE BANNED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. THIS SERVES AS A WARNING.

do you have to be geographically in that fan force, if you're a regular poster in their forum, and used to be there geographically?

neither of the fan forces near me are particularly active, but i've been a regular poster in NSW since i joined when i went abroad, and i'd like to join with them if possible.

 

Sure why not. But the team captain definately has to be from the chapter or city forum.

 

Since we forgot to list our city and for those who might not know, Big Apple Squadron is representing New York City.

Not necisarilly. I live in England, but I am a member of SWNYC, and quasi-British representitive for the club, and that's why I am part of the New York Banking Clan trio.

Signups for the game stop on Wednesday. Before the game starts you must have a color scheme for your team submitted as well.

Dark Blue background.
White text (bold).
Black border.

In other words... Yankee colors, baby!
