Of all the mutant teams few have sufferd more indignaty than Gen-X.

Jubilee, and Chamber nerfed down and depowerd. by Austen(Nerfed down) and Depowerd by the idiocy that was Decemation. Its like DC. haveing Lady Shiva going "No more Martial arts" or Jacen Solo "going no mor Jedi" ugh! idiocy.

Chambers mini series was great, but never took off.
Jubilee's mini series was a joke, ignoring her pervious chracter development and just about everything else about the chracter to make an american version of sojoh.


Synch and Skin: Killed

Skin killed off by the hack Chuck Austen to meake his own poorly concived villans of the Church of Humanity seem more threating.

Synch's death in Gen-X comics well done, He was an excellent character as well had excellent powers. Ironicly in Gen-X issues 1 he uses his power to absorb an explosion several times more powerfull than what killed him.


M: had done well enough with X-Fcator with Peter David. PD always treats his chracters well.

Emma has done well since GenX But poor Banshee, thats messed up.

 

Pfft, Gen-X's treatment isn't all that bad really. Queseda has said Jubes "will get her powers back" but whether that was a joke or not I don't know.

However, when compared to the New X-Men cast, I don't see how one can complain. They're dieing left and right in their own book for crying out loud.

And really, try being a fan of the JLI. Now there is a super team whose publishers are out for them.

Gen-X is the reason ive never gotten attatched to the New Mutants, these new writers have all gone kill crazy since 2000. I mean Look at the new warriors! and yes the new regime at New X-men have gone so overbord with the killings it has gotten beyone maddness.
