I'm in my thirties, I have a job, I have a girlfriend, and one of my favorite shows is a cartoon called Spongebob Squarepants. I have no life

Anyway, any fans out there?

Yes, I think the reason those shows are great are because they have a certain style of clever humor that is not used in that many cartoons today.

I've seen it a few times, it's hilarious. Not a kid's show at all. Wouldn't surprise me if it got cancelled, that's what they do with unique innovative shows, cancel them all!!

i heard they were just gonna cancel invader zim. they already started to make new episodes for spongebob. and its one of the highest rated cartoons. nicelodean (sp?) would be stupid to cancel it

 

They only made 2 new episodes. It's been around for a while, though, unlike Zim, the reruns will still be on.

Anybody remember shows like All That and Rocko's Modern Life. I know Rocko was cancelled, but I'm not sure about All That. I think All That was too unfortionately. They always cancel the best shows on Nickelodoen

Eh, at least they still have the classic Rugrats on. Thats a cute show to watch.

Oh yeah, you're right, Rocko was hilarious. So was old All That with Lori Beth Deinbirg and Katherine! Anyone seen the ALL NEW CAST OF ALL THAT?! If not, let me just say: eeeewwwww! I'm sorry, this crowd isn't (IMO) 1/8 as good as the original cast.

 

All that was cool. but it got stupider. then the stupid pop music craze came and ruined it. Rugrats is THE coolest show, besides spongebob, of course

 

All That used to be cool, but they just can't come up with anything as good as they used to. I saw one episode of the new All That, and vowed never to watch it again.

There will be no characters on Nickelodeon like Kenan & Kel.

 

And its not just the fact that they cancelled the shows too. Its the fact that they never show them on anymore.

Another show I like was Kenen & Kel. I thought it had some stupid things, but it made me laugh. Thats cancelled too I believe.

Oh, yeah, and the opposite day one where squidward convinces Spongebob that it's opposite day so he'll stop being annoying.

 

A favorite of mine is where Spongebob encounters Bubble Bath, and looses confidence when Bubble Bath fools Spongebob into thinking he forgot to add the pickles.

I just love that show!

I actually enjoy watching the occasional episode of SpongeBob when I visit my nephews. They always look at me strange when I laugh at the jokes that they don't understand.
