Maybe though it was more do to the old crime movies homage the pic is likely meant to be, were the crime boss would often only be seen in the half shadow light by his cigar.

 

Hutts have been interesting me more and more recently so kind of hope some new content is given by FFG showing more about Hutt society and stuff.

That is indeed an awesome cover. Is that a Mando or generic bounty hunter? Helmet looks like a 501st Phase II clone armour. And really loving the attention to the IG-series!

 

Friend of mine mentioned that those two are apparently the pic for the Bounty Hunter class in the Core Rulebook Beta, so seem to be generic Bounty Hunters. Her Armour looks to be near identical to Bobas, she even seems to have a EE-3 in her holster, but the helmet is definitely something different, though hard to say what.

I usually don't like Mando-ish armour, but that image is very, very nice... it's simultaneously ticking the cliche Boba Fett box whilst managing to look slightly unique and original.

 

Mando bounty hunter, IG-88 with a cloak and a Starviper diving into a sea of fire. Kinda beats the stock "Big Three plus Falcon plus Star Destroyer" covers we usually get.

 

And, perhaps even more shockingly, a fully-clothed one, at that.

 

Well, to be fair, we have no idea if she actually has any clothes on underneath, or if it's just armour and she's actually naked.

 

Looks like she's scarred, too. From the side of her face up past the bridge of her nose.

So Lando DID program style into that IG-88 shell in Bespins undercity before selling it off to the Thul family! Ha!

also star wars rpgs have a long history of cool female character designs, going all the way back to WEG.

(but yeah that cover is pretty cool tho)

 

Those Sandtroopers look pretty nice, as does the Emperor in his old Chancellor office.
