    Or the winglets were an experiment that were later found to be unsuccessful. They don't add much in the way of radiator area, and probably make for more complex wing structure.

    Agreed. Loved it since it was a preview card in the SWCCG. Almost as good a name as the Badi Dea

    Can't beat the Badi Dea. Not only for the awesome name, but for appearing in the best mission in X-Wing- protecting a convoy transit point from an ISD launching TIE advanced and bombers. Not alone, but as a squad of 5! X-Wings and 2 A-Wings (having 6 other friendlies in that game was basically unheard of) and as you hold out, you get support from the frigate Whitehawk (another great name for a ship) and cruiser Maria.

    For me, it was the most memorable mission in the game, alongside the Tour 3 Mission 2 Drydock attack (memorable for how hard I found it when I first played X-Wing). Until I read the Rogue Squadron novel, even the Redemption scenario wasn't as memorable.

    Ah my favorite X-Wing games mission of all time still has to be the the Viraxo weapon depot raid the Azzaman's conduct. :) Though I just loved all the Family missions and now I am just depressed again because the story was never finished :(

    I finally tried X-wing for reals earlier this year (I've made several attempts but the primitive nature of the information display made it annoying) and yeah, the Redemption mission wasn't very memorable. I did love how quickly I racked up Kalidor Crescent upgrades -- it was like basically every mission. I played it like I played TIE, which was basically flying like a boss and taking down everyone. You Rebels have it so easy with your missions :p

    TIE Fighter's missions were just mean. XWA had some pretty mean bonus objectives too. Oh, you're about to take out this Star Destroyer with your Y-wing? Here, have a dozen TIE Avengers with advanced missiles arrive to ruin your day.

    You'd think I'd have a favorite Star Destroyer name -- but I don't. I do have a favorite Mon Cal cruiser name though, the Sumtintodo (can never spell it right) from TIE Fighter.
