Roll up, roll up! Last year we had some fun with this...this year, I'd like to do it all over again, but we seem to have loads more folks to sign up...so...go to

    http://www.ff1.beeb.com/

and enter your name and email addresses and when it's time to pick your team, they'll email you.
When that happens, pick your team according to the rules of the year and post the details here.
I'll attempt to keep track of the scores and make up our own league from the teams entered on this forum.

Last years winners won't be present, unless Ikhnaton/Arseman decides to pop in quickly, so all is to play for this year!

Well...rules like...you must pick two drivers, two cars and a set of tyres and all for £3.25p sort of thing...pretty darn good fun..you sign up, pick your team when they let you, post the details here (team name, drivers, cars etc) and I'll keep track throughout the year and post the continuing results here! Good larf last year

OK, I'm in too. But I know nothing about F1. However, some mates of mine are big fans, so I might be able to pick up some tips.

The only sports that I know anything about are football and hockey.

Ok, me too. But, Poods, if this turns out to be some lame Brit attempt at copying American redneck sports, I'm taking it out of your butt!

copying American Sports??? Formula One Motor Racing has one of the grandest traditions in all sport...no other sport has so captivated the planet as a whole, produced the most colourful, charismatic and conspiring champions or the seat of your pants action!

Being American, I guess it'd be hard to actually watch a Formula One race...however, to help you out they now run a race at Indianapolis..not a great one, but not too bad! Watch out for it close to September!

You just watch and see, wormie...*narrowly avoided comment which could have seemed cold-hearted and frankly ba***rdish considering the recent news of Dale Earnhardts death in the Daytona 500*

This is what I mean! Too many cars in too small an area going too fast...of course all of which are the purpose of racing, nonetheless accidents are bound to happen and when they do people get hurt because I don't care how many seat belts, pads and roll bars you've got on those cars, you hit a cement wall going 180 mph you're gonna go splat like a bug on a windshield.

Gee, I hope that makes sense....
