Halfway through the first new episode, and I'm loving it and terrified.

I caught the end of the first one of this new series and wondered what the heck I was watching. That was dark stuff.
We then watched the "X-Factor" /Game show one and that was enjoyable.
It was very meta with the lady from Downton Abbey (Jessica Brown Finley) and what happened to her and the leaked pictures.

I've only seen the first and second episodes so far. This is not a very binge-able show because it's so intense and gives you food for thought and also because there's no incentive to binge because it's an anthology.

I really enjoyed the Bryce Dallas Howard episode inasmuch as it was a dramatic take on meow-meow beenz. The second episode was nice and scary, but I didn't love it.

I'm watching the sixth one now. One scene creeped me out more than anything in the second. The third has been the best for me. I didn't think much of the fourth initially, but after a few days I think I have a much higher appreciation of it and the questions it threw up.

Oops, I meant the 4th. San Junipero or something. I like the third one too.

I flat out ugly cried at the end of San Junipero. Not even ashamed to admit it.

Watched eps 1 and 2 last night. Ep. 1 seemed more like a documentary than dystopian sci fi. Ep. 2 is probably the best-ever remake of Jacob's Ladder.

I watched Ep. 3. It struck me as being similar to S1E1 and S2E3 as worlds with only really existing technology, but how things can go haywire with what we already have. I also thought it was thematically similar to White Bear in terms of retribution vs. justice.

Haven't watched San Junipero yet, but Netflix started to autoplay it and I saw Mackenzie Davis is in it! Love her.

So this was nominated for two Emmys, and won both. So that's nice for the makers.

Both were for San Juniper, writing and Television movie.

And the next series is out soon, I think.

    Here are the titles.

One looks like Black Mirror meets Star Trek. So I am currently tenting.

And a promo video for the new series.

Just a reminder that Diggy gets credit for being the first Mirrorite among us from before the Netflix era.

To paraphrase the immortal words of Rogue_Ten, the new season looks dope

had me at U.S.S. Callister. Time to cancel your holiday vacations. Lock the doors after Christmas so your relatives can't get in.

U.S.S. Callister really a grand champion Trek satire. Perfectly paced with a great cast.

    My only complaints are

The lazy if you die in the Matrix you die in real life meme. Why, exactly? Also copying someone's DNA doesn't copy their memories and personality. That's just dumb.

I really loved the whole episode but I agree, I had to have a lot of suspension of disbelief for it throughout. Assuming he died by accident on their end, why wouldn't they expect him to just get more DNA again?

I guess I like Metalhead a bit more than U.S.S. Callister. Both fun episodes, but it's hard to fault anything about Metalhead. Bleak and black and white.

Just finished the season! Some good ones, but I feel like they don't quite hit the same notes as seasons one and two.

Surprised to say that Metalhead was the most enjoyable episode for me. Many of the reviews on the internet seem to put it dead last - which I understand but I don't think it deserves it. I also really enjoyed USS Callister, I thought it was a great opener. And Hang the DJ because of the questions I was asking myself about it.

    I'd go:

    Metalhead
    Hang the DJ
    U.S.S. Callister
    Black Museum

that's all I've seen so far.

I ended up watching them in the order of how interesting they looked based on the reviews.
